DESCRIPTION " I know what you did, Roberts. I know what you did last summer. "
EXTENDED SUMMARY Maxine Roberts has been friends with four nerdy boys as long as she can remember. Growing up in the depressing town of Derry, you had to band together with someone. The five survived well, before Maxine was whisked off to boarding school in Oregon, at the start of the school year.
Now, Maxine is back and reunited with her friends for the start of summer, and she's eager to catch up and make this summer better than the last. But she's hiding something. Something happened, the summer before, something that Maxine would like to keep secret. But Richie Tozier knows Maxine's secret, and he holds the power to make or break Maxine's friendships in his pale hands. And he's angry.
NOTES — You can choose what Maxine did! Just please don't make it anticlimactic! It has to be big and bad enough to cause her friends to turn on her if they found out. Or something that she fears will make them turn on her! (I was gonna say maybe kissing a girl, one of the boys' long-time crushes, but I'm not sure if that's big enough? You decide)
— Don't reveal what it is until Richie blurts it out (I would say have him blurt it out when Maxine takes Bill's side in the fight after Neibolt), but build to it and give little hints and clues!
— They should be mad at her, Stan, Eddie, and Bill, at least, along with Richie, and leave her alone for the month the losers are split up (maybe she hangs with Ben or Mike) but they do forgive her!
— Maybe what she did is part of the reason she was sent away to boarding school!
— Richie never blackmails Maxine, but he holds her secret above his head and she's kind of perpetually frightened and scenes between them are awkward
— The others notice and wonder why they're acting so weird to each other, but they probably think Maxine rejected Richie and he's angry, or something like that
— At the end, she apologizes for what she did and Richie apologizes for being so awful and they all forgive each other
— Yes I know this is the title of a horror movie but we're not doing any crossovers or anything related to that
