Leo Strange, a reserved teenage boy, just wanted to forget about his old life in New York City.
After his parents disappeared, he tended to not really talk to anyone. Which meant no friends.
But that all seems to change on the first day of summer vacation when Leo finds a letter that was waiting for him in front of his bedroom door.
And when he realizes that it's from a boy from school, Leo Strange suddenly decides to trust whoever's sending him these letters.
And along with these weird letters, Leo Strange also finds his life on the line. Because not only is he telling his secrets to a stranger through a letter, but he runs into a gang of boys and one girl called "The Loser's Club".
And his secrets become the least of his worries.
NOTES: - This is based off of Love, Simon
- Leo is gay and he is sending the letters to the library, where the boy picks them up and sends his letters from there
- Leo calls himself Jacques like how Simon did in Love, Simon and Eddie calls himself Blue
- Make sure to write about Leo trying to figure out who Blue is
- He thinks it's Eddie for a little while but realizes quickly that Eddie has a crush on Richie
- He has a huge crush on Stan as well but he doesn't know if he's Blue or not
- Pennywise comes to Leo as the dead bodies of his parents since they're both missing and he doesn't know what happened to them
- Leo and Eddie should have a happy ending. THEY DESERVE IT!
- There can be a sequel.
- Leo can find out Blue is Eddie when him and Eddie leave their friends to go home in the last scene (where they're all saying goodbye to Beverly before she leaves)
- Eddie can stop him and tell him he's Blue and it could be really cute
- Leo chooses the name Jacques because his father name was Simon. His father always told him that he wanted to take Leo to France when he was older as well, so the name Jacques has a very deep meaning to him. Eddie chooses the name Blue because that was the nickname his first crush had given him. He always called him Blue because Eddie was very cold at first towards people and seemed to have a sadder personality than everyone else because of how his mother treated him.
- Someone has to play Martin and has to blackmail Leo and then have him come out ( possibly Henry Bowers )
