" What are those? " I asked Allana.

She sat on the floor with a bunch of parcels as I went out of the bathroom after my shower.

Allana looked up.

" Oh! Good! You're done! Change first and we'll open them together. "

" You're very excited to see what's in the parcels."

" I am! Thrilled actually! So, go change! Now."

" Mind if I-"

" NO! CHANGE NOW."

I went to the closet and changed.

" What's in those parcels?" I asked her.

" Happiness."

"Happiness?"

I went out of the closet and sat beside her.

She handed me one box.

" Wow, it's heavy. What's in the box of happiness?" I asked.

I hope it's Happy Meal!

" Open it."

And I did.

" You have the commemorative book of our wedding? "

Not Happy Meal.

" Well, these were Carmela's gift to us. "

" Oh. Well. Let's send her a thank you card."

" I think it's nice. To have these in our apartment."

" All I ever needed in my apartment is a ton of books with my photos on it!"

And I need a Happy Meal.

" Not all of them have your photos. Some of them are commemorative photos of me."

" You know I love you right?" I asked her as I put my arm around her.

" Well, screw these books."

" What?"

" Dang it, what do you want?"

" Nothing."

" Really now?"

" Fine, Kate's inviting us to a party that she and Charles planned. A surprise party for William."

" Because his birthday is coming up."

" Yes."

" And?"

" They planned it without me."

" Harry, are you jealous?"

" No. Yes. "

She kissed my cheek.

" No need to be jealous! I'm here."

I kissed her back.

" Promise me, when you plan me a surprise party, I'll be a part of the surprise committee." I said.

" That wouldn't be a surprise party anymore."

"I know. "

She frowned and made a face, then went to bed.

" Nap?" I said.

"Yep."

She put her self in the blanket and slept.

I just sat there next to her reading a commemorative book entitled -" Allana, Never to Plain and Simple".

The first page was us, in the Jaguar, on our wedding day.

She really isn't too plain and simple.

She's complex.
