Allana's Perspective

This is the best day of my life.

What day is it today?

I grabbed my phone to check what date and day is it today.

I sat down the hospital bed and stared at the wall.

" Hey, are you hungry? " Harry said

I heard him.

" Hon? Did you hear me? " he said

I didn't respond.

I felt his hand on my shoulder.

" Hey, you okay? " he said

I faced him.

" What date is it today? " I said

He checked his watch.

" Fourteen. " he said

" Of? " I said

He hugged me.

" Happy Valentine's Day. " he whispered.

" Happy Valentine's Day. " I said

" Is he born on-"

" 8:35 am. " I said

" We have a V-day baby. " he said

" I know. "

" This is the best Valentines we ever had! " he said

I pulled back.

" How about that time-" he cut me off by shaking his head.

" Nope. " he said

" You're right, this is the best one, we've ever had."

There was a knock on the door.

" Let me get that. " Harry said as he walked to the door.

I am hungry.

I walked to the table where food is prepared.

And there is a sandwich.

I took it and sat back down the hospital bed.

And Austin is here.

" Austin! " I said

He smiled at me.

" Congratulations. " he said

I smiled.

" Thank you. " I said

I took a bite of the sandwich.

And then I realised I'm not hungry.

I'm famished.

Then there was a knock on the door.

" Austin, can you get that? " Harry said as he handed me a glass of water.

Austin opened the door and I drank the water.

" It's good to see that you're up and eating. " Kris said as she pushed in a small baby carrier thing, I forgot what it's called.

" Kris! " I said

And then I saw him again.

Sleeping and wrapped in blue.

It's a good thing that I finished my sandwich.

I stood up and looked at my baby.

" Hi. " I said

Harry and Austin looked at the baby too.
