Chapter Thirty

In the end Team Pied á Terre won, Allana loved the place, and loved the food, William says that on the next dinner, he'll get to choose the venue.

Then when Allana and William told us the place, the four of us, me, Allana, William and Kate started arguing about what to wear.

In the end, this happened.

" I'm telling you there's no dress code there. " William said in a patient tone.

" Yes, but I'm not gonna show up there in jeans. " Allana said.

" Me too. " Kate said

" I'm wearing simple suit and tie. " I said.

" I'm wearing that too. "

" God! The dinner is within 6 hours. We are not ready yet. And yet, here we are arguing about clothes! We have not coordinated with Matthew yet! " Allana said.

" I say, we just wear clothes, that matches my and William's outfit. " I said.

" So, we're going semi-formal?" Allana said.

" Yes, just to get this over with. " I said.

" Then it's settled. Allana and I will wear black." Kate said.

" Yeah, you two, I don't know get matching ties? What ever. Kate and I will be staying at our apartment, and Harry and William will stay in Wills' apartment. Kate, you just get your clothes from your place, Harry, get your clothes from our place, then we'll meet halfway for the exchange. " Allana said.

" What?" William said

" You and Kate will go back to your apartment, Kate will just go and get her stuff that she'll use for the dinner, me and Harry will go back to our apartment, Harry will just go and get his stuff he'll use for the dinner and we, meaning me and William will make an exchange, Kate will go to me, and Harry will go to you, we'll just meet halfway. Got it?" Allana reiterated.

The three of us nodded.

" Now, let's move! " Allana said.

" Wait, why are we doing the exchange?" Kate said.

" So, it'll feel like a real date. Oh, which reminds me, pick us up at about 7, meaning, all the preparation should be ready before seven. " Allana said.

" Wait, so, the exchange will happen in a? " William asked.

" In an hour. " Allana said.

" That gives us more or less 5 hours of preparation. " I said.

" Yes, you two, Harry and William will be picking us up from Harry's apartment, at 7 pm. Meaning you two are in charge of the transportation." Allana said.

" Now, can we move?" Allana said.

" Yes. " I said.

" Yes. " Kate said.

" Yes. " William said.

" Then, let's move!" Allana said.

Everything went as planned, we made the exchange in an hour, Kate had a small luggage with her, and so did I.

" I really do not know why we had to exchange. " William said.

" Allana and Kate wanted this to feel like a real one. " I said.

" So, what car are we gonna use?"

" Are we going in groups or separately?"

" Groups would be nice. "

" Then, lets just let Matthew pick out at least 5 cars that would fit the 4 of us. "

" Yes, so that we won't sweat the small stuff. "
