I have a polo match today, and I still don't feel like getting up.
" Harry, wake up."
Allana was waking me up by combing my hair with her hands.
" Harry. "
I don't want to wake up.
" Harry, wake up. You're getting a little late. "
I pulled her back to the bed and I was hugging her ever so tightly.
" Harry, not.. too.. tight.. wake up. "
" I don't want to. "
" Hon, this is your agenda today. You could've chosen a day after the first days of the season, but you had to choose the 3rd day. "
" What time is it? "
" Uh, 7:30. "
" What time should I be in the venue? "
" 9:00. "
" Ugghhh. How do you know that anyway? "
" Unlike other people, I read the schedule given to me. "
" Why do you do that? "
" Okay, I learned to read your schedule because I learned that you don't read yours. So, I took the liberty in reading yours after I read mine. Everyday. "
" Wow, thank you. "
"Now, take a bath. "
" Take it with me. "
" No. "
" Why? "
" Because, if I take it with you, you always lose track of time and it's almost impossible to stop bathing."
" Aww, but it's boring. "
" Harry, I'm not asking you to take a bubble bath! Just a quick shower. "
" Tsk. "
" Okay, fine, I'll make it up to you. "
" How? "
" Screw the four months, when you finish your match today, and you take a shower, we'll do something. "
" What something? "
She kissed me and I kissed back.
"Just please take a bath now. "
" Okay. "
I stood up and went to the bathroom.
Okay, when I started bathing, it was 7:45 and when I finished it's already 8:25.
" Harry, you have to change now. We have to go. "
" Okay. "
She laid down the clothes I should be wearing, my polo shirt and everything.
" Please move faster. "
" Did you take a bath already?"
" Yeah, woke up at 6 am to prepare. "
" Oh. "
" Double time, dear. "
" How about my extra clothes? " I asked
" Austin has it already. I packed it. "
" Seriously? "
" Yes. "
" Do I wear my boots now? "
" Yes. "
Time check: 8. 35
" Ready? " I said
" Are you? "
" Yeah. "
" Let's go. "
Like Allana said, she was watching intently. I couldn't help but look at her direction because she, I don't know stood out.
And I feel a little bit conscious that she's watching me. I have to play good and whatever.
After the match, I approached her.
" Hi. " she said.
" Did you enjoy the match? "
" Okay, I didn't understand it, at all. I just watched you. "
" Oh, seriously? "
" Yes. "
" Well, I'm playing-"
And I didn't finish my sentence and I kissed her.
The wind suddenly blew and we were still kissing.
Then I pulled back.
" You were saying? " she said
" Screw it! Let's just go home. "
" Wait, before you enter the car, and I don't know snuggle or whatever, you have to change your clothes. " she handed me a black dufflebag.
" Okay, I guess. "
" And do it fast, so that we'll have more time. "
" Will you please come to the tent with me? " I said
" What? No!" she said
" Please? "
" And what? Watch you? "
I pulled her close to me in an embrace.
" Please? " I said
I put my hands on her neck and kissed her.
" Please? "
Then it was raining.
" Hon, it's raining. " I said
" I know. "
" We could go in the tent and have a roof. "
" No. Don't change anymore. Let's just go in the car. "
" Oh, come on, you hate stinky Harry. "
" Well, you smell like horse crap. "
" And you smell like horse crap too. "
Then it was still raining, except for where we were standing.
" Okay, I'll just get the car cleaned and all, can we please just enter the car? " Austin said
" Better than being in a tent while watching you undress. " Allana said
" Seriously? "
" Harry, my Betadines are wearing off. I need to replenish them now! "
" And rain water is known to be filled with bacteria. " Austin said
" Can we please go? " Allana said
" Fine. " I said as I put my arm on her shoulder.
Austin was holding the umbrella as we walk, getting wet in the process.
" Austin, come on in the umbrella. You're getting yourself wet. " Allana said
" Come on in, Austin, the umbrella is huge. " I said
And he did.
" See, no need to be all sacrificial to us. You're basically family to us, Austin. " Allana said
" And we'd be nothing without you, Austin. " I said.
And we did a little group hug in the rain.
