Harry's Perspective
Allana was so tired.
My son is-
I actually said it, in my mind, my son.
I smiled at the thought.
Allana is asleep.
I can't imagine how exhausted she is.
Even I am exhausted.
So, I lay down the couch and took a nap.
..
I guess I haven't slept when Austin woke me up, what feels like seconds after.
" Sir? " Austin said
" What? " I said
" Your brother will be coming to visit. " Austin said
I sat up groggily.
" I haven't even slept yet. " I said
" Sir, you slept for six hours."
" It felt like seconds. " I said
I stood up and peeked through the window.
There are a lot of people outside.
Lights and flashes.
Umbrellas of different colors.
People coming in and sitting down the pavement.
" Sir? " Austin said
" Hmm? " I said as I turned to face him.
" Congratulations. " he said
I smiled.
" Thank you. " I said as I hugged him.
And he tensed up.
I can feel that he is shocked by my gesture.
He patted my back.
And I pulled back.
" Sir, could you excuse me for a while, I have to check on-"
" Oh, okay. Dismissed. " I said
He bowed and left.
I switched on the telly and tuned in BBC.
And as expected, we are news.
They showed clips of the landmarks of the country, who were glad to hear that.. who were glad to hear the news that is still overwhelming to me.
Thinking about it overwhelms me.
So much.
I don't think anyone knows about the gender of my son.
Except me, Allana, Kris and the nurses.
I haven't contacted the Palace and anyone in the Palace yet.
Maybe Austin has, I mean, William and Kate are on their way here.
Allana came out.
" Hi. " she said
I smiled.
" Hi. " I said as I stood up to hug her.
And she hugged back.
" I love you. " she said
" I love you so much. " I said
We just stood there, hugging each other.
" You smell like you just came out of the shower." I said
" You smell like you didn't have a shower. " she said
" That bad? " I said
" No, but, you have to. Will and Kate will be coming over. "
" You heard? " I said as I pulled back.
" No, they called. "
I frowned.
" You did not reveal-"
" No, no. Of course not! "
I nodded.
" Okay. "
" Take a shower now. " Allana said
