Chapter Sixty-Four

Harry's Perspective
Being alone is so boring. Sure, Allana's here, but she's asleep. And I am here, staring at the air, and I'm not sure if that's even possible.
I want to sleep. I'm sleepy. But I can't. It sucks.
I opened the telly and tried to find something.
And there was nothing.
I'm so sleepy. But I couldn't think of sleep now.
And all of a sudden, Allana burst up awake.
Eyes wide open.
" Hon, what's wrong? " I asked.
" Wait right there. " she said as she made it out the door.
And now, I am officially alone.
No one to talk to at 9 pm.
The only person who's been with me for hours just stormed out of the room in a hurry.
I'm alone in a hospital room with nothing to do.
This sucks.
I was so close in falling asleep when the door burst open.
" Allana, you scared me. " I said
And she was smiling.
" Oh my god. " she said
" What? "
" You know that you look amazing right? " she said
" Honey, I have a huge bandage on my head, a leg cast and well, my arm is in a cast, I know that I look great. Without all of this. " I gestured at the casts.
" I love your blue eyes. "
" And I love your grey ones. Honey, you're freaking me out. "
Is she on something?
" I know. "
" Would you mind telling me what's going on? "
Maybe it's the medicines.
" I would. But I would have a very long introduction. "
" Okay, I have all night. "
" First of, Carmela pleaded guilty today. "
" Seriously? "
" Yes. And Will also pleaded guilty. "
" That's amazing. Wow. "
" Yes. Second, you really look amazing. "
" That's freaky. I expect those words to come out my mouth. "

" Honey, you look amazing too. "
She smiled.
I could never get used to that smile.
" I love you. " I said

She kissed me, and we were kissing.
And my head hit a pillow.
And it hurts. But it doesn't matter.
We had this last night, but now I can't move like, half of my body, this is much exciting.
" Ow. " I said
" Shit. Sorry, sootch over. "
And I did and we were lying next to each other.
" You know, I couldn't move like, half of my body right? With the muscle relaxants and pain relivers and all?"
" I know. But it couldn't hurt to try it half right. "
" This happens once in a lifetime. "
" Yeah, we should've done that when I had the car crash years back? I couldn't move my whole body."
" It would be nice. But it'll be like making magic to a corpse. "
" Yeah, I had wounds all over me. "
" And a broken leg too. "
" That reminds me, did we stretch your leg too far?"
" We stretched it, but not that far. "
" Did it hurt? "
" Just a little. "
" Do you think I should call someone? "
" Nah, it's fine. "
" It's on a pillow. "
" And now, you're resting on my good arm. "
" I'm cutting off circulation am I? "
" Pretty much. "
She sat up so that I could remove my arm.
" I love you, Harry. "
" I love you, too. "
I kissed her forehead.
And I think she fell asleep.
I wanna sleep too.
It's too bad I can't.
I just have to watch her sleep!
