Harry's Perspective
Allana is in labour.
And she has been screaming for hours.
Not that I am annoyed, I mean, she's pushing out another human being out.
But I think, with her eating ice cream, it helped lessen her---pain.
" Hey, hon? " I said
" What? " she said
" How are you feeling? " I said
" Seriously? "
" Yes, I am. "
" Ever know the feeling of trying to push a small human being out of you? " she said
" No. "
" Well, since you don't know the pain? I am gonna answer it, Harry, I am in so much pain, that I think the baby is going out of my head! "
Okay.
I have read somewhere that the pain was excruciating. That is similar to the feeling of being burned alive.
And there is no point in asking her that, because she'll get mad at me and shout at me.
Not that she's been shouting at everyone else.
For example, the traffic, she shouted at the traffic a while ago.
And, at Austin, for driving into a traffic road. I think Austin is used to getting shout at, but this time, it's a hella different, he got shouted by a woman who is in labour.
And then, in the hospital, we didn't expect to have some sort of special treatment, and Allana did not want any, but she's got that fire-y look that gave us a room right away, luckily there weren't any other women in labour, so we got in.
And then, when we got settled, she got so irritated with her ringtone. And she shouted at me to switch it in vibrate or silent mode.
And then when her obstetrician-slash-gynecologist-slash-friend came in asking ever so calmly how she was, Allana got so irritated when she came in calmly.
She is so stressed, and in pain, she had Austin call the Palace, and tell that we are not expecting any visitors right now, because Allana does n- wait, no, I don't want anyone to be here except for me and Austin to get shouted at, and add to her stress, and that we'll just phone in any news about this breaking news.
I can feel that Allana is close to throwing stuff.
So close.
Austin handed me a glass of water.
" Thank you.. " I said, even though I didn't ask for water.
" You definitely need to drink, sir. " he said
" It's clean, right? " I said
" Of course, sir. "
" Then why are you forcing me to drink? "
" Because you need water. "
I frowned.
" Drink that glass, and then wash your face. You are stressed. " he said
I settled the glass on the table and entered the loo.
I do look stressed.
Allana's water broke two hours ago.
And we kinda left in a hurry, I didn't have time to shave and even change out of my sleeping clothes.
" Hey, Austin? " I said
