Allana's Perspective
I woke up from my nap at about 6:45 pm, and I found out that I am alone in the room.
Harry has not been here since we arrived. Where would he be?
I forgot how awful pregnancy hormones are.
They give me a nasty headache, throwing up all the food that I eat and most of all, keep me lying down the bed.
The moods too, but I don't think the hormones contribute to that, I mean I know that I have a bad temper and all.
And my anger episodes always freak Harry out.
Where is he?
I stood up and headed to the bathroom to have a shower.
After cleaning up, I went to look for Austin.
" Austin. " I said
" Oh, you're up. " he said
I noticed that there are some helps walking around so he called me ma'am, which I so dislike.
" Have you seen Harry anywhere? " I said
" Is he not in your room? "
" Austin, do you think I would've asked you if he was? "
He smiled.
" Well, he told me that he would go for a walk around the palace, to clear his mind. " he said
" Oh. " I said
" Do you need anything? " he said
Then I realised something.
" Austin, can you come with me in my room, I need to talk to you. " I said
" Right away, ma'am. " he said
Then we walked.
" Are you freaking kidding me? " I said as I shut the door.
Austin looked stunned.
" Alla-"
" Harry cannot walk that far! Austin! He sprained his leg! "
He blinked.
" Remember? He fell on his pony? Sprained his leg? You helped him go down the stairs this morning? And he constantly complains about it? Because it's such a hassle?" I said
He inhaled.
" I can't believe it. All this time I thought he was here, for the past six hours. " he said
" How do we find him? " I said
William, Harry's brother came in.
" Oh, there you are! " William said
" What? " I said
" Have you seen Harry anywhere? " he asked
I looked at Austin.
" Why? " I said
" For starters, he and I should be in a meeting like, two hours ago, and I know we are never late, because the people are just early but, two hours?! " William said.
" Right, the meeting with the uh-"
" Australian Prime Minister. " he said
" Did you push through-"
" Yes, and I kinda used you as an excuse. I told them that Harry had to take care of you because you are sick."
Feeling sick not sick.
I'm pregnant.
I nodded.
" So, where is he? " William asked
I bit my lip.
" Here's the thing, William, Harry took a walk six hours ago, when we got back form Carmela's hearing, and I had a six hour nap and I just woke up and I haven't seen Harry since the car ride back. " I said. Which is the truth. Half of it. I left out the part wherein Austin lost Harry. That's Austin' s story to tell.
" Harry took a walk?. " William said
" And that's the part where Austin comes in. " I said
I nudged Austin.
" Mr. James? " William said
" Prince Harry had a walk in the palace, but did require me to leave him alone, because he had to clear his mind and all, and told me that he will just call for me when he wants to get back. " Austin said
" Make the long story short, Harry is not here. " William said
" And nobody knows where he is. " I said
William looked at me.
" What?! " he exclaimed.
" Don't get mad at me. " I said
" To whom can I get mad at? " William said
I looked at Austin
" Aus, start looking now. Track what you have to track. " I said
He nodded, bowed and excused himself.
" What was that? " William asked
" You are not going to be mad at Austin! I already had. " I said
" And why not-"
" Austin was ordered by Harry to leave him alone, which he did, I'm sure they had training to do whatever you say."
" They did! But Harry's not here isn't he? "
" Ugh! William, can you lower your voice?! I'm pregnant. I cannot get anymore mad! "
We both inhaled.
" Do you think Carmel-"
" No. I mean, I hope not. No. "
" Harry just wandered off. " he said
" He did. He just wanted to clear his mind. "
" Yes, and breathe. "
" Where would he be? "
" The palace is not that big, but it sure has a lot of areas to breathe and clear your mind, but if he left the gates, then, we might have to look for him in the whole land area. "
" Well, we could try calling him. " I said
We both looked at each other.
Then we ran to my phone.
I searched for Harry's number and called him.
TIME CHECK: 8:15 PM.
First try, voicemail.
Second try, voicemail.
I didn't leave any messages because of past incidents of hacking.
Third try, voice mail.
" Well? " William said
" I keep getting in to his voicemail."
" Ugh. "
I keep getting into his voice mail up until 9:15 pm, for one hour! One hour and he didn't bother to pick up.
This is getting really frustrating.
No, it is frustrating.
At about 9:45, my phone rang.
It's Harry.
" Is it-" William sais
" Harry? " I said as I answered the phone.
William sighed.
Austin is here in the room, tracking the phone call.
" Hey. " Harry said
" Where are you? "
" W-w-why? "
" Harry, we've been looking for you. "
" Oh. "
" Are you-"
" I'm not. "
" You didn't even-"
" I'm not, okay? "
" Where are you? "
" Last, uh, time I checked, Wycombe. "
I wrote on the pad paper that Austin gave me wherein I should write the details.
Wycombe.
Austin nodded.
" Drunk? "
" No. Hon, I don't get drunk remember? "
Definitely drunk. I wrote on the paper.
Austin nodded.
" Austin, William and I will come and get you. Okay. "
" Wil-william's there? "
" Of course, just stay where you are. "
" I'll stay, stay right here. "
" Okay, wait for me okay. "
" And Austin and William. "
" Stay where you are. "
" Hon, I love you. " he said
" Love you too. "
" I'll stay right here. " he said
" Don't drink anymore. "
" Not drinking anymore. "
" I love you. "
" I love you. " he said
" See you. "
" Stay right here. " he said
I hung up.
" You know, for a bloke who needs clearing of his mind, he does not have a clear mind now. " I said
" Did you get him? " I said to Austin.
" Yes, shall we? " he said
" Let's go. " William said
" Don't forget to bring bottles of water. " I said
" Okay. " Austin replied.
Harry managed to go to Wycombe, who knows how, and now he's drunk there.
Great.
