When we arrived at Ellen's set, everyone was waiting for us outside.
Ellen blue balloons were on the entrance.
When I opened Allana's door, and of course Allana came down, people clapped and cheered.
" Hello!" Allana and I said.
Ellen came to us and greeted us personally.
Well, by greeted, we mean, she curtsied.
" Welcome." Ellen said.
We smiled.
When we entered the set, well, the backstage, everything looks clean! Neat clean.
" So, where do we settle down?" Allana asks.
Andy, I think he is the producer, stood near a door with the name ' Ellen DeGeneres' on it, and he threw the name plate.
" Right here." he opened the door.
" Where will Ellen stay?" I asked.
" Ah, she can manage." he replied.
" And 2 hours before showtime." he said.
Allana and I nodded.
Allana and I decided to do a matchy-matchy outfits, the same blue buttondown shirt, with white jeans we used for the engagement photo.
Waiting for our cue to come in, we were watching the show through a telly installed backstage.
" We have a special guests today." Ellen smiled. The crowd cheered.
" And as you know, they're British." the crowd cheered again.
" And they just got married recently." the crowd cheered again.
Maybe they know that we are the guests.
" Please welcome, the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex!" Ellen exclaimed.
The "DJ" played a sound of a trumpet, like the herald's style, Ellen stood up and the audience stood up too.
Allana and I walked hand in hand, waved to them with our free hands.
Because of my habits, I gestured the crowd and Ellen to take a seat.
" I have to admit, I am pretty much starstruck to see you two here." Ellen said.
" You were starstruck too? " Allana said.
Ellen laughed.
" Allana stays up at night watching your show. " I said.
" Yes, and I kept asking him if you are real. I really wanted to meet you. "
" Of course I'm real!" Ellen said.
" I know! I knew you were real when you welcomed us a while ago! I wanted to poke your cheek! " Allana said.
" She did that to me when we first met. And the time when I proposed to her."
Ellen laughed.
" Yes! He got down on one knee- " Ellen flashed a picture. " I was surprised, of course, then I poked his cheek. Twice."
" First on the cheek then on the eye."
" The eye?" Ellen asked.
" Yes, it was really dark. " Allana replied.
" Is it dark?" Ellen asked. " There are lights everywhere."
" Well, I was blinded by the shine of the ring." I said.
