And you'rfe gonna here me ROAR!!! *squek squek* There are so many times whe you're dissapointed.

STUCK IN THE MIDDLE

“Hey you guys!” We turned around and saw Beam looking at us and rolling her eyes while crossing her arms. “Yeah!” Jaylen yelled to her. “How about you let your girlfriend try something that's actually challenging,” I chuckled. Not only because she was practically calling him a bad fighter, but she embarrassed him by saying I was his girlfriend. But I didn't care about that.

We were walking down to the climbing wall when a question popped into my head. “Hey, Jaylen,” I said. “Sup?” he said to me. “Why does basically everyone in your family have a B to start their names except you and your two twin sisters?” I asked him. I know it was random but I really wanted to know. He laughed a little bit.

“Well, that's a weird question but I'll answer it. When we were born, both my parents' names started with B. It was just a coincidence but then my dad suggested that our whole family could be named after the letter B. When I got older, he told me that the B in all of our names stood for beast. I didn't want it to though.

My two twin sisters didn't like it either. We didn't think we were beasts, we thought we were people. Our national anthem for my old school was 'We are werewolf's united, and we stand big and proud, we do not fear the humans, we despise them here and now',” I chuckled a little at how stupid it was. “Yeah, I didn't sing it though. I was more like a rebel,” he said acting like he was a bad boy. “So we changed our names. Mom was fine with it, but my dad isn't the easiest person to please,” he said. I felt sorry for him. I knew what he was talking about. His dad didn't even try to pretend he was happy I was here, or at least fine with it. It bothered me a little. “Do you ever feel sad that you and your dad don't connect well?” I asked him. He looked down and just shrugged. I could tell the answer was yes. I asked no more questions. I looked ahead noticing we were only half way down the hill. It was a REALLY big hill. We were silent until we got down to Beam. I love her name. I walked past her while her eyes were eating through mine. When I walked by her, it was horrible. She tripped me! I stumbled a little then fell to the ground. She hovered over me shaking her head in disappointment. I swear I wanted to slap her across the face. “This one needs work,” she said then walked away and Jaylen “went to work”. And that's how I ended up on the ground with a stupid whistle in my face. It felt like a training montage after that. I failed, I failed, I failed, I failed, THEN I failed, but then I started doing pretty good.

After practice I was to “battle” Jaylen again. And I tell you, no exaggerating or flattering, but…….I TOTALLY FREAKING KARATE CHOPPED HIS BEHIND!!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!! No offense Jaylen ;) “Okay, okay you did good but…” I cut him off. “But! I totally killed you dude. I mean look at your face,” I said to him. He was wiping mud off his face, that's right, MUD. “Okay so you did…great! Fine! Whatever! But there's still work to do,” I groaned super loud so he heard me but he ignored it and started explaining this looooooong list of stuff to work on.

He started going in to tactics when I stopped him. The worst part is the hills so long he would have been talking forever.

“Dude. You sound like my DAAAD!!!!” I said it groaning out loud... So he stopped talking. I spotted Bryce talking to the three cousins at the top of the hill. And of course, I ran up the hill to talk to them. When I reached the top, I was out of breath. Yes, the hills that long. I walked over to them and Bryce saw me coming. “So. You've decided to torture the minds of the kids like you did to me,” I said to him. He gave me a death stare, but more cute than deadly really. WHAT!? I didn't say anything! I'm losing it. “I was just talking and you know I didn't…” he started but letting him finish would only hurt me. “Yeah. Sure, whatever,” I rolled my eyes. He did the same thing. Then he smiled deviously. “Anyway. Kids, this is my girlfriend Mo, Mo, this is Beau, Belle, and Blaze. They're all nine.

But of course you know that since there tripl….” Again, letting him finish would only hurt me. Did he just say girlfriend? “Did you just call me your girlfriend? Please, in your dreams,” I said to him while he's giving me, what I call, an eye molest. And I'm freaking out. “Will you please stop looking at me like I'm the last slice of cake on the plate?” I started to walk away when I heard Bryce roll his tongue. I know it sounds weird when I say that but it's the kind of thing you do when you see someone sexy. It gave me the chills. I suddenly felt his strong hands around my waist like if he could kidnap me right then and there he would. I pulled away from his tight grasp and saw his eyes were orange, slowly turning back to purple, then brown. “You know how hard this is on me and you're making it harder. You are both the best guys next to my dad I've ever had in my life.

But just so you know, you messed with my emotions and all you do is show physical emotion instead of mental. I mean do you even think about how I feel about this?! That's right, You don't! You don't get how hard this is for me and I hate you for it!” I was still staring at him while tears welded in my eyes.

I couldn't see much but I could see enough to know he was staring at me with tears in his eyes probably. I wiped my eyes, but when I opened them again, he was gone. “Do you know how hard it is?” I jumped back a little at the sound of Bryce's voice right next to my ear.

I turned around to face him, someone I didn't know anymore. Someone who I thought was Bryce but looked softer, and kinder than usual. “What?” I said to him, his question popping back into my head. “Do you know how hard it is to stay away from someone so beautiful?” he said looking at me with his eyes glistening as the sun compliments their appearance.

“I'm not beautiful,”

“Yes you are,”

“What makes you say that?”

“You just don't understand how your beauty burns my eyes like a million fires hot enough to set my soul on fire,”

“So…I'm so ugly it sets your eyes on fire,”

“I said my soul,”

“Oh! My mistake! I'm so ugly it sets your soul on fire!” I was yelling now. “No! That's not what I'm saying! Mo…” he takes my hand into his. “All I've ever been trying to do, the moment I laid my eyes on yours, is try to get you to notice me. I thought you like jockey dudes,” he said very sweetly. “I guess I was wrong. The truth is…” he took a moment to breath, which I thought was corny.

But my eyes were so filled with tears, laughing isn't an option. “…if I didn't have you, there'd be no reason for living,” he said all at once. I saw the tears crawl down his face as mine did the same. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Jaylen watching us from about 20 feet away. I wiped my eyes a second time. I couldn't do that to Jaylen. But before I could say anything, he hugged me. It was a warm hug, as to say 'I've got you'. It made me feel protected. Without thinking I hugged him back, not wanting to let go.

 Told you it was awkward.....
