Such a blissful morning to wakeup to. The delicious smell of breakfast sizzling downstairs. The playful cheering of Phillip playing downstairs and best of all a sleeping Alexander next to me. His chest rises and falls deeply as he rests. He looks so vulnerable while he sleeps and it brings a smile to my lips. His auburn hair is messy from sleep and his eyes are loosely shut. I snuggle up to him and on instinct he wraps his arm around me pulling me closer to him. I smile at his sleeping actions as I close my eyes to rest with him.

My vison blurs as I attempt to open my eyes for the second time that morning. I look up to be met with violet-blue eyes locking me into a trance. He smiles at me and kisses my forehead breaking me from my trance. I quietly laugh.
"Morning love," He whispers trying not to interrupt the beautiful song from the birds outside.
"Morning Beau," (Handsome) I respond. He smiles at me. I know he love when I speak French he says it "makes me more me".
"Je peux être beau mais tu es beaucoup plus belle," (I may be handsome but you are far more beautiful). He tells me. My jaw drops.
"When did you learn French?" I ask him.
"Lafayette helped me a little," He confesses. I peck his lips quickly in gratitude. After I pull away he asks me, "Want to go on a date tonight?"
"What about Phillip and Amelia they will only be here for so long," I remind him.
"I know I know but I want to have a special night I doubt they will mind," He rebuts. I sigh he's right and I do want to spend time with him, just him.
"Okay," I sigh but my sigh turns into a laugh as he paints a goofy smile onto his lips. He cups my face and brings me into a sweet long kiss. He heats it up by pulling me up so he can deepen the kiss. Sadly, I pull away for air and we connect our foreheads.
"Wear something nice tonight," He whispers then he not so gracefully got out of bed. I laugh as he walks out of the room and down the stairs.
After I am dressed and ready for the day I leave Alexander's room and make my way down the stairs where I'm greeted with Phillip's crutches carelessly placed on the last step. I pick them up and lean them against the wall away from where they can break. I walk into the living room where I hear Amelia and Phillip talking.
"Pip what did Amelia and I tell you not to do with your crutches," I scold him making my presences know. His face goes white as he sees me.
"I'm sorry mom! It won't happen again," He pleas. I laugh as I say, "It better not Pip." I make my over to Phillip and Amelia sitting next to them on the tan couch. That's when the front door opened. Phillip screams "Lexi! Where did you go?" I laugh at the nickname as I see Alexander's face become red.
"Lexi? Never heard of that before," I say as I make my way over to Alexander.
"Yeah, John use to call me it so I told Phillip to call me it instead," He confesses.
"Wow, are you ready to talk about John?" I ask him.
"I mean I can't avoid the topic forever. Can I?" He asks. I shrug he is right but I know I'm still not ready.
"When should I be ready for tonight?" I ask him changing the subject.
"Two hours and prepare to be out late I have something planned," He tells me. I hear Phillip start laughing but before I can look over at him Alexander slams his lips onto mine. Phillip's laugher quickly stops and is replaced by a bunch of "Ew's." I laugh into the kiss breaking away from him turning towards a horrified Phillip and a smiling Amelia.
"What's with you Amelia?" I ask her. She just nods her head, "I'm just so happy for you two." She then gets really close to my ear and whispers, "Get some of that as-," My face heats up as I quickly interrupt her by horribly coughing. She smiles and walks up the stairs. I look over to Alexander who seems to not of heard Amelia as he has Phillip on his shoulders taking him over to his crutches. I make my way back upstairs to where I get ready for Alexander's and I's date.
