We have just gotten on the boat that will take us to Spain. I should be really excited but all I can do is stare at the ugly wood wall and cry. For hours this is all I have done and I just feel worse because Alexander is by my side. Neither of us have spoken until I decide to break the deadly silence.
"I'm sorry," I mutter. He looks over at me.
"For what? You have nothing to be sorry for," He kindly says.
"I'm sorry for always being an inconvenience. I don't know why you love me I always mess everything up! I mean today was suppose to be the best day and surprise surprise mother fucking Noel has to walk in and ruin it," I say harshly.
"Sh never say that! Look at me," He turns my head so we lock eyes. His eyes are tired and swollen from crying.
"You are not an inconvenience! You got that? I will never regret marrying you because you are what motivates me. Without you I would be a workaholic who never sleeps. I already have trouble not working but if you weren't always there to tell me to take a break I would of probably starved myself to death from forgetting to eat," He tells me. I laugh at his last comment and he smiles.
"This is our honeymoon not Noel's and we only have a month so let's move forward and have a great time. Okay?" He asks. I nod and wipe my tears.
"Your right! So what do you want to do?" I ask.
"We can go up and get some food at the dining hall?" He asks.
"Okay! Let me get ready," I say.
"You look perfect no need to get ready," He says as he pulls me back down onto his lap.
"Please I've been crying for the past what five hours? I need to fix myself up." I say.
"Who are you trying to impress?" He jokes.
"You," I snap jokingly. He laughs and pulls me into a kiss. I pull away shortly after and he frowns.
"What's with the frown?" I ask .
"I miss you," He whines.
"Where did I go?" I laugh.
"I miss your lips," He whines/jokes. I laugh and I kiss him again. He slid his tongue against my bottom lip and I pulled away.
"Maybe later," I whisper into his ear.
"Why not now?" He asks. He then kisses my cheek a little longer then usual.
"Not in the mood," I simply say.
"I am," He sings. I laugh and get off his lap and walk over to the small vanity in our bunk room. I see Alexander fall onto the bed and I burst into laughter.
"Don't laugh at me!" He calls from the bed. I laugh harder and walk over to him.
"What wrong?" I ask through my fit of laughter.
"Well my wife wants to get ready well I'm starving over here," He sighs still laying on the bed.
"Is that so?" I ask. I pause for a second.
"You know I like it when you call me your wife. It's better then courter or fiancé," I tell him.
"Is that so Mrs. Hamilton," He sits up and wiggles his left eyebrow.
"Yes, Mr. Hamilton or better known my husband," I say as he smiles at me.
"It does have a nice ring, husband," He laughs.
"It fits you," I joke.
I walk back over to the vanity and fix my smeared makeup. I walk over to the trunk where are clothes are and I pull out. A red lace dress. I slide it on and fix my corset.
"I'm ready!" I call out as I walk into the bedroom where Alexander was reading. He looks up with his bottle-cap glasses on and smiles.
"You look beautiful Mrs. Hamilton," He says. I smile as a small blush forms on my face. I take his hand and we walk out of our bunks and up the stairs onto the main deck where the cafeteria was. We walk in to see it virtually empty. We walk over to a small table near the starboard and wait for our waiter.
Dinner was over Alexander and I were walking back to our bunk. We held hands and walked in silence. We reached our door and Alexander placed his hands on my waist. I put one of my hands on his and the other I entangle in his hair.
"I had an amazing night," He tells me.
"I did as well," I say. I then notice are faces were inches apart so close I can feel his warm breath on my face. He closes his eyes and leans in closing the gap. Our lip touch and they instantly move with each other. His hands tighten around my waist and I slip both of my hands around his neck so I can pull him in closer. He traces my bottom lip with his tongue and I open my mouth more for him. He starts to trace my hips with his hands as he pushes a little father onto me. He was gentle keeping in mind what had happened hours before.
I break away so I can breath and I open our door for us. I turn around and instantly his lips find mine and we were back where we started. I pull away once more and lead him onto the bed.
"Are you okay with this?" He asks kindly.
"Yes, I love you," I say.
"I love you too," Are lips connected once more.
