In the Room of Requirement, NARCISSA and LUCIUS stand before each other with their wands drawn.
NARCISSA: Are you ready?
LUCIUS: Try it.
NARCISSA opens her mouth, but suddenly the door to the room opens, with MAFALDA entering.
MAFALDA: Oops! Sorry, I didn't think anyone was here. (She gazes at the strange scene before her) And exactly have I stumbled upon, here?
NARCISSA: Nothing. We were just practicing.
MAFALDA: (sarcastically) Sure, you were.
LUCIUS: Yeah, yeah. What are you doing here, anyway?
MAFALDA: I just needed a little quiet space. I'm surprised, I thought the two of you would be at the Quidditch match-
NARCISSA: Gryffindor versus Ravenclaw? Is that a joke? No one wants to watch that backyard brawl.
MAFALDA: I don't know, they've both got some new players. They could take us down.
LUCIUS: Like hell.
MAFALDA: Anyway, what are you practicing that's so important?
NARCISSA: Imperius Curse. Care to join?
MAFALDA: (sitting down off to the side) I'll just watch.
NARCISSA: Suit yourself. (to LUCIUS) You ready?
LUCIUS: Yeah.
NARCISSA: Imperio!
LUCIUS stands still, but does not do anything spectacular.
LUCIUS: Not strong enough. I can still fight it.
MAFALDA: Oh, tough blow, Cissy.
NARCISSA: Give me a minute! (She continues pointing her wand at LUCIUS. Finally, after a moment, he unintentionally slaps himself in the face).
LUCIUS: Ow!
NARCISSA: Ha! I did it!
MAFALDA: (mock cheering) Wooo, go Cissy!
LUCIUS: All right, my turn. (He points his wand at NARCISSA) Imperio!
Immediately, NARCISSA jumps in the air and does a cartwheel.
NARCISSA: Whoa! I didn't even know I could do that!
MAFALDA: You're a truly amazing work of art, Cissy.
LUCIUS: How does it feel, Cissy?
NARCISSA: (sarcastically) Spectacular. Let me try it again.
LUCIUS: (spreading out his arms) Be my guest.
NARCISSA raises her wand, and for a moment she and LUCIUS look each other in the eye and smile. There is a heavy chemistry in the air between them before NARCISSA brandishes her wand.
NARCISSA: Imperio!
