It had been three weeks since Adelaide had join the school and she felt like she had been cursed the day she entered. She couldn't talk to the friend she wanted, Coral had disappeared and wouldn't leave her room. Hans wouldn't talk to her and had begun to terrorize the princes any chance he got. Helga, without Coral being around, had made it her priority to cause mayhem for the princesses and Hook was now in charge of the school, running it like a ship, with the absence of King Mickey and Queen Minnie. Adelaide watched as the bright and peaceful school turned to darkness, and for fear of running into her father, who was still around, she hidden away in her room. Kida and Elsa had barely talked to her and every attempt to get her out and opening failed, only Kronk had managed to get her to eat.

Coral stared out the window and watched as the students went about their daily activities, she placed her hand on the window and it froze over. She gasped and pulled her hands back; the ice began to melt over and slipped down the window before bursting into flames. She sighed and rubbed her temple.
"My powers are going crazy." She turned around and stared at her room each wall represented a different power she held, but the ceiling which was growing in darkness with each passing day. She walked towards her bed and lay down staring over at the music box on her bedside table, she sighed and rolled to her side curling up into a ball.
"Where did these powers come from father? Was it what Rothbart did to me that night? When he singed my back?" She sighed before turning off her lights, tomorrow she knew she had to get out of this room and start a new day.

The princesses had never given up nor had Jack and Tooth, on trying to get Adelaide to talk to them, and Adelaide was getting tired of it, she was grateful to Vanessa who had gotten the message. Vanessa had brought her food and placed it on her bedside table again, they both stared at each other for a moment, Vanessa pushed her hair behind her ear and turned away ready to go to bed herself.
"Thank you, Vanessa."
Vanessa chuckled.
"I'm not doing this for you, I can't help Coral like I want, so this is a strangely close second." She muttered, Adelaide nodded gratefully it wasn't the answer she usually got from the others, Vanessa snuggled under her covers and flicked off the lights.
"Pretend you're asleep when they get back, I don't want to listen to them for another night... Goodnight."
"Night Vanessa." Adelaide waited for Vanessa to begin to breathe slowly before sighing and rolling onto her side, she didn't want to leave, but it had been so long since she'd been to a class and she had missed her lessons more than she thought.

The new day had started! Everyone was hustling and bustling about. News had reached them that Minnie and Mickey were on their way back. princesses squealed in delight and the princes' got their best suits on, Helga rolled her eyes and stared at passing students as she headed towards Vanessa's room. She knocked on the door and Elsa opened it.
"Oh. Vanessa, Helga is here for you."
Vanessa yelled a response and Helga just stared at her red nails, Elsa moved away and packed up her school bag as Kida brushed past Helga quickly and headed towards the next room where Anna and the others stayed. Vanessa ran out and pulled Helga with her, leaving Elsa to stare back into the room.
"Adelaide, are you coming?"
"Yes."
Elsa's jaw dropped as she watched as Adelaide come out the bathroom looking slightly different.

Jack and the others sighed as they watched Gaston and the Bimbettes flirt with each other, Esmeralda shook her head in disgust.
"I really want to punch him." Jack muttered as his fists clenched and his nails dug into his palm, Eric nodded resting his chin on his palm. Tooth gave a small shrug and glanced around the room, as Helga and Vanessa walked in.
"Where is Elsa, it's not like her to be late? Do you think Adelaide will join us? I still haven't met her properly." Tooth asked, Cinderella sighed and sat down across from Kida.
"Not a clue."
"Not likely." Aurora added, ducking as a book flew by her head. The door opened, and everyone's eyes stared at the newcomer, mouths agape. Coral was stood with her hand on her hip looking bored, she had on a pair of denim jeans, a grey polo shirt and her black leather jacket, her clunky necklace and bracelet's missing and her makeup was lighter, with her black beanie. Her hair less black and growing longer. Adelaide stood next to her, her usual preppy, pink and white clothes had been ditched and she was wearing, a golden pencil skirt with a thick black belt, and a plain white off the shoulder top, her hair had been straightened and her makeup was darker, and her blonde hair was lighter. With Adelaide was Elsa, looking also different, she had her hair in a side pony tail and she wore a sparkling off the shoulder blue dress.
"Coral?" Jack whispered.
"Sis?!" Anna squeaked.
"Adelaide?" Everyone else whispered, the three girls stared at one another and Elsa blushed pushing Adelaide in to the room before her. Hans was sat with two of the Bimbettes whilst Gaston sat with his arm on the back of Laura's seat. Adelaide glanced over at Hans and her cheeks burned in anger, Hans blinked and lowered his head slowly as she swept passed him and into her seat. Gaston stared at Coral blankly and she glared back at him, as Elsa sauntered to her seat.
"Miss Hook?"
"Yes." She never took her eyes off Gaston.
"Would you kindly return to your seat? Would everyone kindly return to their seats?"
Coral craned her neck to the side, to see Mother Gothel staring down at her from her nose, she placed a hand on her bony hip and waited.
"Sure." She strutted forward and bashed through Gaston's legs which were perched up on her desk. She leant forward, and Laura shuffled uncomfortably. Gaston tried his hardest not to flinch away from Coral.
"There's no need to talk this out." She gestured to Laura who lowered her head in shame. "Thanks for absolutely nothing." She turned around and gave Jack a look before turning to the front. Gaston leant back and glared at Jack who gave him a mischievous smirk.

"Right now, that everyone is settled." Gothel looked at both Coral and Adelaide before continuing. "We all know we have a part to play in our own fairytales, whether it is villainous, heroic or even as a damsel in distress. Many of your destinies were decided by the Brothers Grimm..." Gothel's voice faded into the background as Adelaide watched the glowing dust particles which were refracting the sunlight's rays. She smiled to herself. Not only had she gone back to class but Coral had the same idea too. She glanced at Elsa and her handy work, she was glad to make a friend happy. She turned her head to the side and looked backs at Hans, his hands were clasped in front of his face his nose resting just atop them, glared into empty space before his eyes caught Adelaide's, quickly he straightened up and turned his glare on her. The princess looked back at him for a few seconds before she turned away to look at the board.

"So, take Snow White here..."
"Florian intends to!" Gaston yelled out causing the villains at the back to break into a raucous laughter all except Coral who crossed her arms.
"Yes, very funny Gaston." Gothel rolled her eyes as Gaston sneered at Florian's and Snow White's blushing faces. "As I was saying Snow White is destined to bite a poison apple and fall into a deep sleep until..." The teacher shuddered. "Her prince comes."
Flynn nudged Adelaide who was wiggling his eyebrows in Rapunzel's direction. Adelaide shook her head and pushed his shoulders away playfully before scribbling her notes down.

Coral watched their interaction from the back and although she hated to admit it she was jealous of how easily the 'good kids' got along with everyone. Everyday tasks were easy for them. She remembered the time she had walked into town with Hook when she was little. When they finally arrived at the tailors for her new coat the tailor had been so scared he had made so many little mistakes and Hook went crazy. The poor tailor had to make the coat all over again. That is what she wanted. A life where no one ran, and no one called her a villain. She sighed and lowered her head onto the desk and waited for the class to end.
