Coral listened to the two-girl's conversation from outside the door. She ran a hand through the roots of her hair. She was tired, sore, exhausted and now incredibly embarrassed.
"Coral." The pirate looked up to face her father.
"What?" Hook smiled at his daughter.
"Glad to see you're behaving better."
"And as I'm behaving better leave me alone..." She muttered, her father raised an eyebrow as he took in her pale complexion.
"You don't look good." He said, Coral just shrugged and walked away leaving her stunned father staring after her. It was hard to find a place which was quiet in the castle even though it was massive and it annoyed Coral even more.
"Hey Coral!" Jack Frost called at her jogging to catch her up as she strode down the corridor.
"I don't want to talk right now Jack." She moaned as her chest began to tighten.
"But I do!" He moved in front of her, rolling her eyes she walked around him.
"Just leave me alone. You're annoying me." She said bitterly.
"Talk to me let me help please..." Jack whispered, she turned back around and faced him.
"You can't follow me." She whispered, her eyes glistening as she stared at the taller male. Jack reached his hand out, his eyes full of worry.
"But I-"
"Get lost!" Coral snapped and stepped out the glass door and splayed her fingers the ground shook violently, and vines sprouted from the soil and the vines began to tangle themselves around the door sealing them shut. Jack ran forward and pounded his fists against the door.
"Coral!" Coral bit her lip before turning around and went for her walk. Jack slumped down and sat silently for a few moments before getting up and standing back pointing his staff at the door. He closed his eyes and listened for the sound of his magic hitting the wall, opening his eyes the magic slowly disappeared as a black fire engulfed it. Jack frowned and walked towards it.
"Coral..."
"Hey younger Jack." Captain Sparrow slurred waltzing up to Jack Frost, he waited for the younger one to respond however he quickly noticed the black magic. "Jack you didn't do that did you?"
"No... Coral did." They both faced each other, and the black magic disappeared "she trapped me here and went for a walk." Jack Frost explained, Captain Sparrow sobered up quickly and punched the doors trying to push them open, but nothing happened.
"Alrighty, stay here mate I'll find something to break this."
Snow White sighed happily as she walked around the grounds of the Academy. She believed that, this school was wonderful, that every single student had a purpose and she loved every moment. She walked along slowly as she thought back over the last few weeks of school. Snow thought about Coral, the distant villain and Adelaide, the pink princess. Ever since the princess had joined, the pirate had been acting differently. Snow couldn't help but feel as though there was something familiar about the two of them. She bent down and began picking up flowers for her flower arrangement class. She hummed happily to herself, her bird friends flying past and helping her pick her chosen flowers.
"Snow?" Coral asked causing the young girl to jump.
"Coral?" She whispered startled by the pirate's sudden appearance. "What are you doing here?"
"Couldn't sleep... you just picking flowers?" Coral said, Snow White nodded, Coral bent down next to her and watched the younger girl trace her fingers over the plants.
"What's the matter Coral?" Snow asked, Coral was taken aback for a moment and Snow White turned to face her smiling slightly, Coral pushed her hair behind her ear.
"Nothing.... Listen Snow, I just wanted to say I'm sorry for all times the others have hurt you."
"Coral I don't know what to say..."
"Please, I know you hate me... That's okay, but I never meant for them to hurt you nor-" Coral stopped talking as Snow flung her arms around the Pirates neck and Coral froze her arms limp by her side unsure of what was happening.
"Oh Coral! I knew you were good!" Snow said happily, Coral blushed and slowly unwrapped the princess's arms from her, the Princess smiled widely and took Coral's hand.
"Then that must mean Jack-" A hand went over Snow's mouth and Coral shook her head,
"I don't know what you're getting at Snow... I'm just here to say the truth and to warn you. What happened in the games was no accident. I need you to stay away from us... the bad students... please. You'll only get hurt... It's not safe, something here is wrong and I'm not safe to be around." Coral stood up and began to move away from Snow White however she stumbled to her feet and took ahold of her arm.
"Please Coral, let me help you. What do you think is wrong?" She asked,
"No, it's alright. Look, princess just do as your told. Adelaide doesn't but you're smarter than her." She mused, Snow gave a small giggle. "But please listen, it's not safe out here." She stopped talking as a low chuckle came from behind the girls.
"You are right there my dearest Coral."
Coral grabbed Snow's arm and pulled her safely behind her. She turned around and stared hard at the shadows.
"Get away from her." Coral yelled, as Rothbart walked into view, Snow White let out a whimper and Coral held out her arms "don't come any closer. I already told you no."
"Oh Coral... You aren't my prize right now." Rothbart smiled darkly. The shadow's erupted at his feet and he disappeared leaving Coral against an army of shadow men.
"Coral, I'm scared."
"Ugh... stay behind me." Coral closed her eyes and raised her hands in front of her, her hands turned bright orange and she opened her eyes watching the swirling fire energy in her palms, she smiled, the dark energy from earlier no longer there. Snow watched her, her eyes widened as Coral screamed throwing her arms forward.
