Vanessa wrapped herself in her coat tightly she scurried through the grounds and headed towards Anastasia who was sat by the fountain. The other girl smiled slightly when she saw Vanessa but quickly hid it when she noticed Facilier coming up behind Vanessa.
"Hey!"
"Hey yourself." She screamed and flung her arm around however Facilier caught before it hit his face, Anastasia got up and shuffled towards the pair.
"Fal you have got to stop sneaking up on me." Vanessa muttered pulling her arm back from him, he tapped his head ever so slightly.
"Everyone's been so down today, I felt as though spooking people would at least lift my spirits. Care for a gift Anastasia." He smirked, Anastasia shook her head.
"No thank you." She said as the three of them walked along,
"How's Helga?"
"She's been put under." The girls stopped gawking at the voodoo man who rolled his eyes at the girls "house arrest. Last time I checked Gaston relieved myself and Hans of our duty." He explained, "she had been flooding the toilets..." He added, both girls nodded and continued walking.
"Wait... why is Gaston with Helga?" Vanessa frowned.
"Actually, Facilier, what was Gaston doing the night Coral was found injured?"  Anastasia asked, Facilier stopped surprised at the girl's questions.
"I don't know... He wasn't with me."
"I don't like knowing someone hurt Coral." Vanessa whispered, she noticed a few students staring at them, waiting to be beaten or bruised by the trio, Anastasia scratched the top of her nose.
"Come to think of it, I didn't even see Helga..."
"Facilier you don't think they did it?" Both girls said together blocking Facilier's path, he blinked before laughing loudly, he ruffled their heads.
"You girls have a wonderful imagination! See you later." He left the two girls discussing. He smirked as he continued on his way, he had never heard such accusations however it made his job easier.

The wind howled around the lake in the forest causing the water to stir and break the tranquillity it held. Rothbart smiled as he watched the swans flee from his presence the power he held over this place was deep and all those who wandered in fell to his wrath all except Facilier, The Voodoo man. This Shadow man was intriguing he would go on about debts to his friends on the other side and how he needed all the souls in the school and in effect he had agreed to allow the male to join in his plotting and as a bonus he would give the man the pirate he so desired, but now they had started their plans there was no going back and now it would just get easier as the clones slowly took over the school.

Adelaide was sat at her desk in History tapping her pencil on the edge of her desk her eyes firmly fixed on the clock ticking slowly away at the front of the class.
"Well Adelaide?" Hades called to her snapping her out of her trance.
"I'm sorry?" She said blinking, he smirked baring his pointed teeth.
"Since you've been paying so much attention can you explain the layout of the underworld to the class?" He said, Adelaide just sat there and stared at the god of the underworld. "Or can't you?"
"The underworld was often called Hades and was divided into two regions there was Erebus which the dead passed through when they died and Tartarus which was the darker region where the titans were imprisoned. It is guarded by the three headed dog Cerberus and the boatman Charon ferries the souls of the dead across the rivers separating it from the world above." She said, Hades' jaw dropped causing the princess to smile.
"Yes well... Pay attention from now on." He turned back to the board where he began to write a description of Cerberus.
"How did you manage that?" Meg whispered.
"Tutor back at home was rather strict when it came to history lessons."
"Sounds awful." Megara chuckled, Adelaide nodded her agreement. After that the rest of the lesson passed quickly and when the buzzer rang Adelaide quickly packed her things up and left the room only to find Proteus waiting outside for her.
"Oh hello." Adelaide smiled nervously pushing a stray strand of hair behind her ear.
"May I walk with you?" Proteus ask pushing himself up from the wall where he was resting.
"Sure." Adelaide held her books closer to her chest as the two walked down the corridor passing pleasantries.
"You know my Father never actually told me what you looked like." Adelaide chuckled nervously not knowing what to say.
"Yes well I only got details from my Father after continuous begging."
"So what's life like in Basrah?" Adelaide asked as they turned the corner heading to the medical unit.
"Hot but it's wonderful. I mean the skies are clear and beautiful the streets are busy with markets and traders and the view from the palace balcony... it is heavenly."
"It sounds like you love your life there." She said, he nodded.
"How about yourself?" Proteus asked, watching Adelaide carefully. Adelaide looked at the floor.
"It's just stunning when the sun hits the ridges just right it's like there is an explosion of colour and having my sisters to share it with is more than I could ask for."
"You have sisters?"
"Yes, nine actually." Proteus looked over her in shock.
"Nine?"
"Yes, I'm the tenth child. Do you have any?"
"No I'm an only child." The two-halted outside Coral's door.
"I see... well this is where I'm going." Adelaide placed her hand on the door and turned to walk into the room when he grasped the top of her arm.
"Adelaide. Do you think I could possibly talk to you in private this evening?" He asked softly.
