Coral groaned as she rolled over her head bumping into solid muscle.
"What the..." She grumbled as she sat up rubbing her forehead before she looked down beside her. "Hans?!" Coral squeaked as she pushed the body beside her off the bed causing him to hit the ground with a loud thump.
"What happened?" He jumped up off the floor his hand grasping the hilt of his sword.
"Whoa hold you horses. Nothing has happened... well apart from you being in my bed you know."
She laughed, Hans released the grip on his sword and smiled sheepishly.
"Sorry. I snuck back in to keep an eye on my girl..." He tapped the middle of her forehead smiling. "But I must have fallen asleep beside you."
"You're a moron."
Hans sat down and glanced across at her.
"Yes I think that's well established by now you know. Anyway how are you feeling this morning?" He asked. Coral let out a sigh.
"Better this morning thanks." She leant across and picked up the glass of water taking a sip.
"Good. That's good." He murmured, there was a knock at the door and the two turned to face the Doctor.
"Oh prince Hans how did you get in here?" He asked, frowning at the prince, Hans just smirked at his friend. "I must have just missed you as I came in." The doctor looked between the two seeing the knowing smiles passing between the two of them he chuckled under his breath. "Well then I suppose I should start by taking your blood pressure."Adelaide entered Good 101 and sat down on the empty space of ground, waiting for Triton to enter the class. Elsa smiled at her friend.
"You heard the good news?"
"Yes." Adelaide replied pulling out her books from her bag. Elsa nodded in thought as other girls came into the class. "Why do you ask?"
"Have you seen her yet?"
"Not yet, I was going to go with Merida and her mum as they were both with me when it happened." Elsa nodded and smiled kindly as she nodded at Ariel.
"I saw her with Anna." Elsa whispered, Adelaide gasped as Elsa hushed her a little giggling to herself.
"She seems so bored."
"Who seems bored?" Kida asked sliding in next to the girls, Elsa turned to the white haired beauty and Adelaide leant over Elsa's lap.
"Coral, she's still in her hospital bed."
"Why are you talking about Coral?" Aurora's voice piped up, the girls glanced up to see Aurora frowning down at the girls, they all looked up.
"Because we were worried about her wellbeing?" Adelaide said, Aurora rolled her eyes.
"Why? She's awake... It means all the villains will be right back to giving us grief." She muttered, Ariel hurried over to them grabbing Aurora's arm.
"Don't be like that! I'm sure it's changed her perspective on things!" Ariel babbled, Aurora huffed a little, before squealing when Ariel screamed in her ear.
"Daddy!" The white haired man arose from the waters and smiled gently at his daughter before turning to his class.
"Please take your seats it's time to begin your lesson." He instructed, Adelaide sighed and listened to the lecture but all the while thinking of Elsa and Anna who had seen the pirate before she did.
"That's what she told me." Sparrow finished his sentence and turned back around to Mickey, who looked over at Sparrow in confusion.
"She saw Snow White get captured by the shadows and you're sure she wasn't hallucinating at the time?"
"I know that girl as well as I know the pearl! She was telling me the truth!" Jack Sparrow argued as Minnie placed her hand on the Captain's arm.
"We trust your judgment Jack and there has been a rise in students, concerned with Snow White and Cinderella's new attitude as well as the growing infestation of dark magic, it does certainly fit." Minnie said softly glancing over at her husband. Mickey nodded his head in agreement.
"I think it's time we have a meeting about this darkness." Mickey said, as he stood up from his seat. Minnie and Captain Jack followed him. "We must start preparing for the worst." He added as the three of them headed to the staff room.Jack Frost slumped down on the chairs waiting for Clayton to teach his lesson. He rubbed the back of his neck and sighed.
"What's wrong with you?" Ariel asked following a group of girls into the hall for sports.
"I accidently shot Jafar in Magic this morning... The result was the bird pecking me." He whined
Ariel giggled and stopped abruptly as Clayton walked in.
"Alright you lot. We're working outdoors today, tasks will include animal care, woodland care and caves. Once I call your name get into the groups, collect a piece of paper from me and start working with the task written on your piece of paper." The group went silent for a moment, "First up is..."
Ten minutes later everyone was hustling and bustling getting into their groups and ignoring Clayton, Jack was still waiting on his group. He looked around and noticed three people left. He groaned. Clayton opened the last piece of paper and read it.
"Jack! Hans! Ariel! Anastasia!" Clayton said, Ariel shot up and jumped onto Jack's back "you'll be working with the horses! And one of you has to do Coral's. She needs to be ship shape. As she's finally awake..." Clayton muttered,
"Giddy up Frostie!" Ariel yelled causing the class to laugh, Hans sulked after then, and Anastasia gave him a small smile as they both walked behind Ariel and a very angry Jack. Once they made it to the stables and glanced around, Ariel turned to the others.
"Shall Anastasia take Coral's horse?"
Anastasia wrinkled up her nose.
"No thanks... she doesn't really like me..."
Jack crossed his arms over his chest.
"Well only Hans and Coral have a horse... so Ariel and Anastasia should do the stables, Hans and me can do the horses, he can-" He received a little slap from Ariel, Anastasia pursed her lips together and gave Hans a look.
"I would like to pamper a horse." She demanded, Jack frowned and folded his arms.
"I told you, you can't young lady."
"I want to!"
They both glared at each other until Hans sighed.
"She can do Coral's horse. Jack and Anastasia can do the stables. I'll do my own horse." Hans quietly ordered, everyone nodded and began to get to work, Jack eyed Hans for a moment,
"that was impressive," Jack thought.Half an hour later Anastasia had given up. Jack moved towards Hans, he glanced at him not saying a word. Jack picked up a brush and began to brush the horses tail.
"She gave up."
"Figures. She hates manual labor." Silenced ensued, Hans stopped and faced Jack.
"Have you seen Coral?"
"Vaguely... you?"
"Yes I was there when she woke up." He replied Jack clenched the brush tighter, Hans watched him carefully "quite a few people have been to see her already."
"Adelaide hasn't." Jack muttered, Hans glared at Jack for a moment "is she getting better?"
"Yes... she's doing well. I don't think she's enjoying being in one place for so long." He explained.
"Who's not?" They both turned to the door, Coral's horse Rock-pool stood next to Ariel and their jaws dropped.
"You- glamourfied her!" Hans said in horror, the horse whinnied happily and Ariel smiled proudly, Jack tried to stop his laugh however he couldn't help himself.
"That looks great Ariel!"
Hans rolled his eyes and tried to ignore the smile pulling on his lips.
"Hans, Jack!" She began "I have something to ask you." They stopped and waited "could I see Coral please."Cautiously Queen Elinor pushed the medical room's door open checking to see if Coral was awake before she motioned for her daughter and Adelaide to join her in the room. The two princesses quickly glanced at each other before they walked into the white room.
"Good day Coral." Queen Elinor said as she glided gracefully in, the pirate grunted her response as she shifted uncomfortably underneath the cotton sheets.
"I hope you don't mind but could someone crack open the window a bit?" She asked.
"Sure thing." Adelaide nodded and quickly walked to the window. Unlatching it she pushed it open and was about to turn back to Coral when she saw a shadow in the distance. Adelaide just stood there staring at the figure it's eyes glowing yellow entranced her.
"Adelaide?" Merida called to her friend. Looking away she smiled at the three women.
"So how are you feeling Coral?" She asked, Coral stared at the princess skeptically.
"Better thanks." She grumbled before glancing over their faces. "So what do I owe the pleasure?"
"We came along to make sure you were getting everything you need school work wise." Queen Elinor said.
"Professor Porter came along with some work for me to get along with so I'm good for now." Coral replied. Queen Elinor nodded.
"Well if that's the case just send a message to Merida and she'll pick up any work you need. Now then..." The Queen stood up her daughter following suit. "I hope you don't mind it being a flying visit but Merida has archery lessons to attend and I need to get my lesson plans sorted."
"I don't mind at all and thank you for the visit." Coral said, Merida smiled at the pirate and Coral nodded slowly. Bowing her head Queen Elinor left the room with Merida.
"So..." Adelaide spoke after a few minutes of silence.
"So..." Coral repeated as she tapped her hands on the duvet.
"If this is awkward I can just go?" Adelaide pointed to the door waiting for the pirates answer.
"No it's not awkward it's just I've had an abundance of visitors and well wishes so I don't really have anything to talk about..." Coral muttered, as she glanced at the blonde princess, Adelaide let out a sigh of relief.
"If that's the only problem, we could just sit here?"
"But wouldn't you get bored?"
Adelaide laughed at Coral's concerned expression.
"No not at all it'll be like being back at home seen but not heard." She said, the pirate shook her head chuckling.
"Sounds like a plan."
Adelaide smiled as she pulled out the book they were studying in English.
"La Belle au bois dormant... what does that mean?"
The princess stared at Coral incredulously.
"Seriously you don't know the name?" She asked, Coral shook her head. "It means 'The Beauty sleeping in the Wood'"
"But why are you reading the French version?" Coral lent across to her bedside table and picked up the English Sleeping Beauty.
"Reading in another language is good for your soul plus they don't' cut parts out."
Coral smiled at the girl.
"Was it anything gruesome?"
Adelaide let out a repulsed gasp before she smirked and open the book near the end.
"How about this for gruesome..."Winter here
