Chapter 71

Authors note: Final battle is over!

Jafar breathed a sigh of relief as Hans began to breath. He sat up shakily and glanced around.
"What's happening?" He asked, Jack blasted another doll before turning around to Hans, a smile of relief on his lips.
"You got hit, but don't worry Jafar saved you." He explained, Jafar nodded before standing up and turning to Coral and Elsa, as shadows and dolls began to crawl away from everyone else and head towards them.
"Those two need help, both of you should go now." He instructed. Hans and Jack Frost exchanged glances, Jafar raised his staff and turned to the enemies running at them.
"This is the last battle, everyone is exhausted and the teachers can no longer keep the darkness away. Coral needs her powers and Elsa needs support. So you two... run." He said, as he blasted all the shadows surrounding the three of them at once, Jack and Hans' eyes widened but they bolted running towards Elsa and Coral. Jack reached Coral and placed his hands on her shoulders and her eyes opened and she glanced at him, sweat was forming on her forehead and she shook her head.
"I still don't feel anything." She whimpered, Jack pressed his lips to the side of her head as Hans placed his hands on Elsa's shoulders.
"You can do this, you will. We're here for you." He said, Hans nodded in agreement as Elsa opened her eyes and glanced at Hans.
"I don't think I can keep this up..." She stammered, Hans shook his head.
"Elsa, come on. You can, look." He pointed to the shield around them, it was now flickering. "Get that ice going, you have to do this. Together." He added, Elsa nodded and glanced back at Coral who smiled slightly and the two stepped closer to each other as Hans and Jack turned to face the shadows, their backs against Coral and Elsa's protecting them. Jack raised his staff and Hans pulled out his sword, the two of them began fighting back the dolls that jumped at them as Coral and Elsa tried to get a spark going between them to counter Eris but nothing was working. Elsa opened her eyes and dropped to her knees, the shield around them broke and the ground stopped floating and Coral dropped to her knee placing her hands on Elsa's shoulders.
"I'm sorry." She whispered, Elsa shook her head.
"I am too..." She answered, the two hugged each other and Jack and Hans moved closer to the two girls, the shadows had gathered and Eris was cackling above them, as everyone had finally been pushed back, and the shadows rose to enormous heights.
"It's over." Eris said, her eyes gleaming with power. Coral, Jack, Elsa and Hans stared in horror as the shadows raced towards them.
"No!"
The shadows exploded and their eyes widened in surprise, in front of them was Adelaide holding out her arms.
"Adelaide!" Coral screamed, scrambling to her feet however Jack wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her against him. Adelaide turned to the shadows and smiled over her shoulder.
"I- can't control your powers. Eris... she owns me now." She whispered, Coral's eyes widened in horror.
"Wha- what are you saying?! Adelaide!" She yelled out, Adelaide groaned as a second blast hit her back.
"I'm sorry Coral. I- wasn't thinking... I just wanted to be like my mother... I wanted you to be the bad guy... I- I let you down." She said tears filling her eyes, Coral shook her head and tried to stand up and pull Adelaide out of harms way but it was no use. Jack's hold was strong and Adelaide's body had begun to turn to stone.
"Adelaide!" Coral cried, Adelaide smiled at her.
"I never realised how dangerous Eris was until now... I'm sorry Coral but you have to- have to save everyone! You are a princess! And I believe in you!" She said, her breath caught and she curtsied at Coral. A third blast struck Adelaide, and Hans, Jack, Elsa and Coral stared at her as the light faded and all that was left was Adelaide. Adelaide had turned to stone, Jack let go of Coral and she scrambled to her feet and ran towards the statue. Coral let out a scream as her powers began to course through her, she stared at the statue and placed her hand on Adelaide's cold cheek. Tears streaming down her face as her body began to spark, her eyes staying hazel, her skin staying vibrant. She turned around and faced Eris, Facilier and a grieving Rothbart.
"I'm done with you!!" She shrieked, Eris frowned. "No more! I won't let you hurt anyone else! I will follow in my mother's footsteps, you will leave here! For good!" She cried, she turned slightly and held out her hand to Elsa. Elsa took it and stood up.
"Together!!" They yelled, this time the ground exploded into a light around the two girls and Jack and Hans' eyes widened in surprise, as ice spiralled around the two girls, floating up above them, followed by water, earth, wind and earth they spiralled up causing the sky to light up with its life and it began to travel around turning the dolls into fireflies and the shadows into light. Hans and Jack nodded and turned waving frantically to Helga, Vanessa, Anastasia, Drusilla, Merida, Jack Sparrow and Hook, they glanced at the two boys frowning but their bodies reacted and they ran forward, jumping over shadows that were left, racing through the broken ground until they met up with Jack and Hans.
"We have to get to the pillars!" Jack yelled, everyone nodded and they headed the pillars. They all stopped one in front of each of them.
"Together! We destroy the pillars!" Hans ordered, they all glanced over at Elsa and Coral as they clasped hands and rested their foreheads together before they glowed blue, their bodies looking like shimmering crystals. Helga glanced at Coral and Elsa and frowned before turning to the princess in front of her.
"How?" She whispered before her voice grew louder, "Hans how? I don't have a weapon or powers right now!" She said, causing the others to nod in agreement, Hans glanced at Jack Frost who had an i-don't-know look. Hans stared at the princess, he knew this was what he had to do but now he wasn't sure why.
"Now!" Coral and Elsa yelled, colours of the rainbow shot up around the two of them before blasting into the sky and it exploded, the nine of them glanced up their eyes widening as they watched a dancing light show until nine glowing gems fall towards them. Anastasia held up her hand her eyes wide and full of wonder, she smiled at the pink coloured gem and glanced over at Vanessa who cupped her hands as a purple coloured gem fell into her hands, Drusilla raised her eyebrow and held up her hand as a green gem fell into her hands, she glanced over at Jack Sparrow and Hook who looked just as shocked as she felt, one held onto a orange coloured gem and the other a red gem. Merida smiled as she gripped onto her yellow coloured gem, she chuckled and glanced at Helga, who was watching in complete amazement as it floated in front of her face.
"How does it feel being a hero Helga?" Merida asked, Helga didn't respond as she reached her hand forward and grabbed it. Jack Frost and Hans nodded at one another holding on to their gems.
"Let's do this." Jack held up his white coloured gem and Hans nodded.
"Alright everyone! Now!" He yelled holding up his blue gem, once everyone did that they all began to glow and they were all pushed back slightly as the gems blasted their magic at the pillars and slowly the pillars began to glow the same colour as the gems and the ice began to melt away.
