Chapter Twenty-Three

Coral entered drama and Hans grabbed her wrist and tugged her back out into the corridor. He let go and stared down at her.
"Firstly. Ow. Secondly why?"
He blushed slightly and scratched the back of his head. She folded her arms and waited for him to talk,
"What did you talk to Adelaide about?" He asked finally.
"You saw that huh?" Coral mused, Hans raised an eyebrow before responding.
"The majority of the class did."
"Why do you care?" She asked, Hans sighed.
"This isn't an interrogation Coral, just answer-"
She held up her hand and placed it against his lips, she scanned the area and pushed him towards the closet. She pushed him in and closed it behind her.
"Okay... this wasn't what I was expecting." He laughed heartedly she rolled her eyes and leant against the wall.
"Look, I know all about the arranged marriage."
"You were locked up." Hans said suspiciously. Coral smirked.
"I have ears."
"The Twins." Hans sighed bitterly, Coral nodded and stepped closer to Hans.
"Why didn't you stop it?"
"I'm the bad guy." Hans mimicked Coral's voice, Coral was taken aback from a moment, "I remember everything you say Coral, you're far more interesting than anyone else here."
"You also found Adelaide interesting, why have you given up?" Coral remarked, Hans shrugged.
"The same reason as to why you won't let Jack in."
They both sighed sadly and stayed silent for a few minutes.
"Listen Coral-" He was cut off with a pair of arms wrapped around his neck. His eyes widened, and her body lightly pressed against his. He sighed and closed his eyes, it had been a while since the incident took place however he finally had back the person he could be open with about Adelaide.
"I'm sorry Hans."
"Coral? Are you ok?"
Coral pulled back and pulled a bottle of rum out of her bag, she smirked at him, and he raised an eyebrow as the ideas formed in his head.
"Wanna skip class?"
He rolled his eyes and patted her head taking the rum away from her.
"I know you've been spending too much time with Jack Sparrow."
She frowned and jumped up he held it out of her reach.
"Come on let's go to class and chill together we have a substitute anyway."
She groaned in defeat and opened the door.
"Okay, whatever but I'm not listening to anymore of Tooth's stories."
Hans laughed and followed the younger female out heading back into class.

Hans, Facilier and Gaston made their way towards the canteen passing students as they went.
"Why were you talking to Snow White today?" Gaston growled out, Facilier sniggered.
"Getting jealous lover boy?" Causing Hans and Facilier to laugh to one another, Gaston rolled his eyes and pushed open the doors to the canteen.
"Quit it, why did you?" Gaston said nudging both the boys, Hans nodded at the three blondes walking their way and Facilier shrugged.
"Just to scare her a little, I feel as though Helga hasn't been doing her job recently."
"Well she's been taking care of Coral." Hans said simply making their way towards a crowded table. Gaston snorted and waited for a moment as the girls opened the door. Facilier looked up at the clock and smirked.
"Well as fun as this all is, I have to go."
Gaston waved him off and headed towards the table, taking it in his stride and pushing students out of his way. As Anastasia and Drusilla dragged Coral towards him. Hans stopped and turned to Facilier and frowned at his best friend.
"Recently this is all you've done. Disappearing every night. What's going on with you?"
Facilier wrapped an arm around Hans, he leant close to his ear.
"All in good time, all in good time."
"That doesn't answer my question."
"Oh you wanted an answer.... Well." Facilier stuck out his tongue and pressed it against Hans ear, causing the younger male to gasp and pull away from Facilier rubbing vigorously at his ear.
"You disgust me sometimes."
Facilier tipped his hat laughing darkly before heading out of the canteen.

Coral headed towards the canteen with Anastasia and Drusilla attached to either arm gossiping about the latest fashion. The room was filled with students laughing and chatting about their day - however as per usual they would move to let Coral and the others pass by. Hans and Gaston kicked a group of students off their table and the girls walked over. Gaston pulled Coral away from the others and sat her beside him, as Anastasia sat by Hans and Drusilla and Vanessa sat on Coral's other side.
