After waiting for Mitchell a little longer than expected, I had fallen asleep. I woke to a knock and found that odd. Why would Mitchell be knocking on his own door? Sleepily, I climbed out of Mitchell's bed.

I opened the door, expecting to see Mitchell but when I seen a scantily dressed Bree standing in a sexy pose I nearly choked. Her sexy look quickly turned ice cold and cruel. Her lip turned into a snarl and her eyes zoned in on me in a murderous glare. Her eyes roved over me like I was an insignificant bug and she was going to be the one to smash me.

"Why are you here?" she sneered and looked around me to see inside Mitchell's room before pushing past me. She layed on his bed, getting more comfortable than I'd like. "You may go." She dismissed me like a maid.

Anger burned in my chest, the hairs on my arms and neck rose and bristled. I clenched my teeth and made a fist. "You need to leave," I bit out each word.

Her eyes turned even angrier with a dark red glow. She slunk out of Mitchell's bed and sidled up in front of me. "You better watch your tone."

"Or what?" I spoke through gritted teeth.

She smiled deviously, "Or I'll have Mitchell send you back to that closed off mountain of inbreeded vampires."

I couldn't help the confused expression that washed across my face and she saw it. Instead of arguing with her, I left. I'll let Mitchell deal with her.

My mind couldn't get over what she said though. Closed off mountain. Why is that sticking in my head and bugging me?

Once in my room, I slipped out of my evening gown and was happy to slip into comfy white and black polka dot satin shorts and top pajamas. These were going to be my favorite from now on.

I grounded my teeth in annoyance. How dare he summon me, and while I was finally with Kenzie. I couldn't help that tiny spark of fear that he knew her secret but I buried it deeper so he couldn't sniff it out.
