Mommy and I started preparing the stuffed tamales with ground beef, bell peppers and jalapenos as the first set, the second set was made with Kidney beans, hot sauce, and banana peppers, the third set is made with turkey, basil, and lettuce, the fourth set is chicken, tomatoes, and barbecue​ sauce. There's going to be over 200 tamales in each set so mommy and I got to work, Keyona came in the kitchen because she wanted to learn how to roll tamales, I chuckled then told her it's just like rolling a blunt; The only difference is it's food not weed. Keyona laughed and watched while mommy rolled the first set then mommy looked back at her and said. "Lávate las manos y ven a ayudar." Keyona looked at me confused, I chuckled because I knew that she didn't understand what the hell mommy just told her; So I started on the second set then I told Keyona. "She said, Wash your hands and come help." Keyona got up and washed her hands then she stood next to mommy, I shook my head as Keyona waited for mommy to tell her what to do; I knew that I would probably have to be a translator because sometimes mommy forgets that not everyone can understand her. Mommy looked at me then at Keyona and said. "Don't worry, I'm going to speak English." Keyona smiled while mommy showed her how to roll the tamales, Once Keyona got the hang of it, mommy let her finish the first set on her own; I heard the guys in the living room playing Madden 17, They were yelling and cussing, I even heard Rico and Quan arguing in Spanish.

Jimmie laughed as Quan said. "Tú estúpido hijo de puta, ¿Cómo pudiste extrañar eso?" Shawn and Kennon laughed at everything that was going on, After I finished the third set I asked mommy if she needed help with the last set; She shook her head no. So Keyona and I started on the final set of tamales; while the guys argued over the game that's when Jimmie came in the kitchen to grab a soda, Rico looked at Quan. "I'm not a stupid​ motherfucker and I missed it on accident idiota." Kennon walked in the kitchen then stood next to Jimmie, Kennon grabbed a soda out of the refrigerator and looked at Jimmie. "This is some funny shit, I should be recording this." Jimmie pulled out his phone then he walked back towards the living room recording everything, I shook my head as Keyona and I finished up the last set; Mommy started on the cheesey spanish rice and gaucamole dip, Tae was playing with his toys so I fixed him and the guys a snack to hold them over until the food is finished. I gave Tae his snack then I handed the guys theirs Rico, Quan, Jimmie, Shawn, and Kennon all said in unison. "Thanks." I smiled at them then I told them you're welcome, I walked back to the kitchen to sit down because I really needed to rest plus I am kinda tired but I'm not going to tell anyone; They'll all make me sit down but everyone knows that I can't sit still that's just not me.

I have to be moving sitting still is not my forte, Keyona came and sat down next to me then she looked at me. "Are you okay, Do you need to lay down?" oh lord here we go, I know that she's going to try and make me lay down but I just can't do it; I have to be moving I am an one the go type of person, But then again I guess things will change now that Kennon and I are engaged oh my god it sounds weird saying that then again I like it. Pretty soon I'll be Mrs. Wallace and I must admit that it has a nice ring to it; I never imagined Kennon and I being married to each other, okay so we were high school sweethearts, doesn't mean that we have to be like mommy and papi. Yeah we had a child at a young age but that didn't mean that we had to get married​ right away, Now I know what you're thinking; And no I'm not saying that I don't want to marry Kennon I'm just saying, back when were younger we couldn't do that. Mommy notices that I'm thinking so she walks over and sits down across from me. "¿Qué tienes en mente niña?" I looked over at mommy then I shake my head, I didn't want to burden her with what I'm thinking about plus the whole Jamaica situation is still on my mind; Papi came in the kitchen and hugged me, mommy, and Keyona then he looked at me. "Don't think that, I have forgotten about the little talk we need to have princesa."

I knew that papi hadn't forgotten about the talk, I just wanted to know why mommy and papi were leaving; I mean they've always been around. Plus papi just got back home from prison, So why would they just up and leave their children? I don't understand any of it but I would get my answers soon, Suddenly I was being snapped out of my thoughts by mommy saying that it's time for dinner; Everyone comes in the dining room and before we begin to eat mommy bows her head then we all bow our heads and hold hands as mommy begins the prayer for dinner in Spanish. "Estimado Señor, Gracias por este alimento que estamos a punto de recibir, Bendice las manos que lo hicieron. Y que alimente nuestros cuerpos, En el nombre de Jesús yo oro." We all said amen then we fixed our plates and drinks then we began to eat, I looked over to see that Tae and Kennon were smashing on their food, So I knew that it was good I took a bite then I instantly got a food gasam; Rico could tell that I was getting lost in my food so he shook his head. Mommy cleared her throat and said. "Papi and I have something to say, So everyone please listen." Everybody looked up and put their their ​forks down, We waited for mommy to speak part of me was nervous because I didn't know what she was about to say; Papi held her hand as she tried to find the words to speak. "Papi and I have decided to move to Jamaica, I know that you're all probably wondering why; But papi will explain." I was finally gonna get the answers that I've been waiting for, So I listened very closely to what papi was ​about to say all I know is that they better have a good explanation for leaving all of us.

Papi started explaining his reason for wanting to move to Jamaica by saying. "First of all, I want us all to move to Jamaica; Because I feel that it will be safer for us to be there instead of here in Jersey." I was confused why would it be safer in Jamaica, What's wrong with Jersey? Everyone else seemed to be okay with this, But I wasn't I wanted to know why I have to pack up and leave just to go to a place that I know nothing about; Don't get me wrong Jamaica is beautiful but I don't feel that I should have to pack up and just leave. Papi could see the concerned look on my face but he didn't say anything about it, Then before I knew it I opened my mouth and said. "Papi does this have anything to do with Sampson Beaudroux, Is that why we have to leave?" The room fell silent, Then I heard everyone whispering who is Sampson Beaudroux? I stared at papi I could tell that he was pissed about me mentioning Sampson; But I needed to know if he is the reason for this huge move to Jamaica. Mommy looked at papi then said. "Hablame mi amor, que tienes en mente?" Papi shook his head and got up from the table, I got up and followed papi outside because I knew that I needed to apologize for what I said about Sampson; I stepped outside then the cool breeze hit my face so I closed my eyes and when I reopened my eyes, I saw papi sitting on the porch that's when I noticed that he had his head in his hands. So I slowly walked over to him and sat down, I put my hand on his shoulder before saying. "Papi, I'm sorry I shouldn't have said anything about Sampson; I just wanted to know if he was the reason for the move to Jamaica." Once papi lifted his head, I could tell that he'd been crying but why was Sampson really​ behind this? Papi looked at me then he hugged and said. "There's no need to be sorry baby girl, You were only trying to get the answers that you want to know; But I'm sorry I can't tell you." That's when papi got up and walked off, What is going on and why couldn't papi tell me?
