From, the look on my father's face I could tell there was bad news. "Papi, just tell me the truth. That's all I want, I've been going through it these past few days." he looked at me, with guilt and anger in his eyes " Sampson Beaudroux is my old business partner. We, came up together in Dallas. Only, thing is Beaudroux had money and I was broke. He's originally from Alexandria, Louisiana  but after his family sold all the property out there they moved to Dallas and expanded his father's business, which is oil. Well, Sampson wanted fast money so he hooked up with me and we started pushing herion, meth, coke, you name it we had it. The money was fast and dirty but we were young and dumb. Anyway, Beaudroux got popped but, I took the wrap that was right before Mommy had you and Ricardo. He, got mad because I was starting a family and wanted out. He told me he'd kill y'all, all 3 of y'all before he'd let me walk away from our business. So, the first time was when, mommy was walking home from work, he tried to shoot her on the streets. So I killed his brother, he tried again right when she found out she was having twins. So, I killed one of his hoes. He wasn't pleased, he told me that we could start over,  just squash everything and be cool again. So, I agreed, I sent mommy to Phoenix,AZ had her change her name, I came around when I could, and when he found out that's when he made the list. He thought you were my only child because I always talked about you, and how I wish I could be a daddy. He wasn't feeling that,  he wasn't even mad that I killed his brother or the bitch, he just didn't want me to outshine his bitch ass". I laughed so hard, my father thought I was crazy "Papi,  wait is Beaudroux gay? Like, was he jealous because you loved mommy and us because you would never love him like that? " "Sampson, was into some weird shit but, I never judged him on that and I never told anyone. He, tried coming on to me but, I declined. When, he found out about Mommy he was mad, but when he found out about you. Shit, that crushed him I thought it was because of all the money we were going to lose but, he said that I couldn't have both worlds just one." I couldn't believe this shit, I was baffled. But, from the look on papi's face I knew these were facts. I grabbed his hands and squeezed them, he smiled and I smiled back. "Papi,  why are you really in here? If you got out of the life, why are you here? Is it behind Sampson? Did he frame you? " he put his head down and nodded yes. That, pissed me off. "Papi, I'm going to take care of it. Trust me, I'm going to hurt that nigga." My father looked at me with a little pride, his facial expression changed " No, princess this is between he and I. Call him, for me and tell him to see if he can come down here or if he can get me out. We'll settle this like men. You go, get to your brother and that boyfriend of yours. They need you. Oh and tell mommy, if I see her again its on." That was daddy's​way. of saying that he's always ready for my mommy "Papi, don't do anything crazy. Please, let me take care of it." He shook his head no, he got up "Do as I say. I love you Ashanti. I always will, and tell my boy I love him too. Call Sampson, don't give him your name and I mean it." And, just like that he was gone behind those walls again. I didn't want him getting murdered on account of me. I wouldn't be able to live with myself So, I got up and left the visitors room. I walked out of that cold ass building into the humidity. Dallas, wasn't that far I could just go and kill this bastard but, if I disobeyed my daddy he'd never forgive me. But, even worse he'd never be free. I had to call Sampson, and get my family back together. My, entire family.

I called Sampson and told him everything that my father had said he asked me a million times who I was but I didn't tell him a minute later we ended our conversation now it was time to get my my entire family back together but would it go as I planned or will it be a disaster? I hopped in the car and drove back to town the first person that I headed to was Rico thirty minutes later I pulled up at his house then got out I looked around before knocking on the door I heard movement then the lock clicked damn this nigga had it locked up like Fort Knox then again that could be Latrice's doing cause she's paranoid, The door crepted open and sure enough Latrice peeked out her eyes got big when she saw me then the door swung completely open. "Oh my god Shanti where have you been? are you okay? come in!" Latrice didn't even give me time to answer her questions she pulled me inside quickly then shut the door behind us I sat down and sighed I wanted to let Latrice know everything but I knew that I had to tell my twin first Latrice went to the back I heard her talking then two minutes later her and my brother reappeared. "Twin where in the hell have you been? I've been worried sick about you." I kinda laughed to myself cause he always does this when he doesn't hear from me it let me know that I was important and loved. "I'm fine I just went to visit papi but you need to sit down there's something that I have to tell you." "What is it?" Rico sat down on the couch and I started ​explaining everything that papi had told me by the time I was finished Rico's mouth was on the floor I looked at Latrice and she shook her head in disbelief I sat back on the couch and looked at Rico. "We have to get get the entire family back together and I need your help." Rico looked at me like I was crazy cause he knew like I knew that it would be impossible but we had to try for papi's sake and for the sake of our family. I called mommy and told her what papi told me to tell her she laughed and proceeded to ask more questions but I didn't tell her anything else I just simply told her that I was fine and that I loved her then I ended the call I called my other brothers and explained everything and of course they were down for whatever, hell I even called Kennon to let him know what was going on and he said that he had my back 100% I knew that I could count on him for anything now here comes the hard part calling the rest of the family god be with me give me the strength not to cuss nobody out cause you know that I will here goes nothing let the games begin.
