"Damn! Shanti you look too damn sexy. I wanna get a taste. come on let me smash in the Beama" I looked this ignorant motherfucker in the face and said "Nigga, you funny as a comedian. Get the fuck away from my car fool" I rolled my window up. The last time I let him smash in this "Beama" the dumb fool got me pregnant and Kennontae happened. I remembered all the hours of labor, it took me 14 hours to push my little bundle of joy out, then I remembered him walking out of my hospital room as my best friend and my mom were there with me. After I stayed in the hospital, I didn't see his ass either or he didn't come check on me, Latrice, my mom, and my three brothers came to see me. My older brother Quan, didn't like Kennon at all because he always thought that Kennon wanted me just for show for his friends but that wasn't the case, my other older brother after Quan was Jimmie, and Jimmie didn't  like his ass either because he didn't want him to hit and run but surely he did. None of my brothers really liked Kennon but they put up with him because of me being the only woman of my siblings and me being the youngest one, they were overprotective of me. I jumped back to reality and I started my "baby" and drove off. I cried with laughter all the way to The Chocolate Room, Choc's club and lounge. I had butterflies in the pit of my stomach, my womanhood was getting all wet for some crazy reason but it must've been all this excitement of a man treating me like a queen.

I never had a man treat me like this at all, all of my High School boyfriends were all dogs, all they wanted was some pussy and arm candy and I was better than that, even Kennon never treated me like this at all. I did a last makeup check (flawless). Then, I heard a tap on my window and he scared me half to death, I laughed at him and I rolled down my window. "Hey gorgeous, you gonna get out or keep a brother waiting?" I blushed and let Chocolate open my door, damn, he was a gentlemen, opening my door and he had his hand out and I put my hand on top of his as he helped me get out of the car. I love a gentlemen who can do the nice things for a woman but he's doing a little too much... I know what he's trying to do, he trying to get some on the first date. No, no, no, no, hell to the nah. No sex on the first date little man, no kitty tonight. We engaged in a passionate kiss before I got out the car good. Oh my god I think this was my oasis in the desert. I just wanted to stay like this forever.

Forever is how I wanted to stay, this was my oasis, shit if it was up to me we'd do what we do out here but there'sno chance in hell that I would, people are watching there are some nosey ass motherfuckers. so we stop and I step back. "So what do you have planned boo?" I knew it had to be something worth the wait he took me by the hand and led me inside what could he have planned? Chocolate led me to the VIP room. I was brought to tears, candles, champagne, roses, the whole nine. He pulled my chair out and poured me a glass, I was shocked. I had no words so Chocolate spoke to me. "Ashanti, I can't help how I feel about you. I want you to be by my side 24/7. I'm falling for you bae."  Before he continued, my phone buzzed. I got a text message from Latrice saying that Tae is chilling with Kennon over her house for a little bit, she was telling me what was going on with Tae and Kennon at her house. "You alright babe?" he asked me and I looked at him as I put my phone in my pocket. "Huh?, oh yeah, I'm good boo. Finish your sentence love" I told him as I admired what he was saying. "You look so good and I want you to be my girl. What do you say about that sexy?" He asked me and what he said with his sexy lips made me more wet. I love his big ass lips because they are music to my ears and he was telling me something sweet. His lips made me want to stick them between my legs and let him go downtown but that will happen another time, them are some PLL which means, Pussy licking lips. "This is nice Choc, I really appreciate this." I smile at him as I stared into his lovely dark brown eyes. "Anything for my baby, so what you do today?" "I've been chilling today since it was my day off, and I was thinking about you. What you been up to?" I asked him. "I've been working most of the day with this club, managing the stock for the food, drinks, and menus. It's a day's work with keeping up with this club and making sure things are alright" he explained. I can see how the club business can be hard with ordering food, drinks, and other things when your doing stock orders. "So baby, What would you like to eat?" he asked me. "Pooh, you fancy huh? I'll get a Chicken BLT Club with sweet potato fries and a lava cake" I told him as my stomach was growling and I was hungry as hell.

We talked about kids but I didn't tell him about my son, not right now not until I can trust him a little more, I will show him my son when the time is right. "Ashanti what is a lovely woman like you doing, working at a strip club, pretty as you are?" He asked me, he made me blush with his bright smile. "Well Mr. Chocolate, I do it for the fast money so I can pay for my bills, buy my car without making a payment, plus I can buy a house. So many people my age don't own a pot to piss in. I love it because I can reach the money target that I was aiming for this year" I kicked some knowledge to Choc. "What is your money target? I wanna know because baby girl, I can help you reach your goal" the waitress brings our food to our table and leaves. "Well I want to start a little small like $40,000 but I'm almost there, I'm at $4,000 so I'm $36,000 close to my target. What is your goal for your restaurant?" "My goal is to let the people be satisfied with the food that they love, I want to make it bigger so I can get a dance floor in here so it can be more people in here to pack this club up. I'm getting satisfying comments but I'm doing good so far so I'm going to find a way to get more. people in here" he took​ a bite of his burger and I did the same. It was real good and we had a good conversation about entertainment, a little sports, yeah I'm a basketball fan, we were loving that we were connecting with each other because a lot of brothas would try to wine and dine me then want to smash but he's different than the other guys, he's more intriguing and he listens to my goals​, he has a goal and we have the same hobbies of basketball, partying, music, and dancing. I had fun tonight and when we got done eating, he told me that the food was on the house and he walked me to my car and he smiles at me then says. "I had a great time and I like talking to you, maybe we can do something tomorrow or another day" "Ok baby, thanks for the hospitality and the food. I'll see you later" we kissed and I drove home. to get some sleep but I text Jackass to see how they were doing and he text me back saying that they were having fun doing daddy son fun, it bet not not be looking at women in a different way because if he tell me some shit about a woman's body part, I'm killing Kennon with a switchblade and I'm not playing.

I parked my car at Latrice's condo and I go up to the door then knocked, She answers the door as she smiled at me and let me in. "So how was the date?" Latrice pulls her hair to the back of her ears. "It was good girl, he owns a restaurant, the food was so good and we talked​ about our favorite hobbies and sports then talked about our goals, damn it was better than my other dates and he's fine" I responded to her question. "Oooh did y'all do the nasty?" she was trying to be intrigued. "Hell nah nasty, rule number one to a date, never have sex on the first date" I told her. She was sad but she is the date and sex on the first night type, she will have to learn because sex doesn't make the date better but if you are intrigued with that person, just talk to them and enjoy their conversation, if their conversation isn't about nothing and it's only about sex, your date was just a smash and run and I'm too damn classy for that shit.
