I continued to stuff food in my mouth so that I wouldn't have to answer anyone's question, Kennon came in the kitchen and sat down by me and Rico sat a plate down in front of him. "Seriously Kenn what did you just say?" Kennon looked at me and smirked cause he knew that I didn't tell them anything yet and I hoped that he wouldn't say anything at least not yet. "Nothing I was just joking bruh calm down."  Rico and Latrice sighed and Latrice left for work and Rico fixed himself a plate then he sat down then he begin to eat. ”So what are we getting into today?" Kennon shrugged his shoulders and I put my fork down and looked at Rico. "Well I got a text message from mommy and she'll be here soon and she said that she has a surprise for us." Rico took a bite of his food then he looked at me. "What's the surprise?" I didn't answer him and I knew that it was pissing him off that I wouldn't tell him, But he was just going to have to wait and see just like everyone else. I continued to eat and Rico continued to ask the same question."Ashanti tell me what is the surprise?" I ignored him and Kennon kinda laughed cause he knew that I knew what mommy's surprise was, I wasn't going to tell my brother anything but he was really starting to get on my damn nerves with all his questions and I just wanted to slap the fuck out of him to make him shut up but that would be wrong of me. "Ashanti what's the surprise just tell me." I sighed and looked at him. "I don't know Ricardo now leave me alone." I got up from the table and went to the bedroom to grab my shoes, I put my shoes on and headed outside, I sat down on the front porch and looked up at the sky. I was finally happy but would I stay happy or would my world crumble beneath me?  My phone dinged and I looked down at it and saw that I had a text message from my mommy. "We are on our way make sure that you're ready and that everyone else is there love you!"

I was so excited that I didn't even reply back to mommy, Kennon and Rico were washing dishes and talking. I ran into the kitchen and looked at both of them. "Stop what you're doing and go get dressed now both of you." I ran into the bedroom I was frantically looking through the bag of clothes that I have, Kennon looked at Rico and shrugged his shoulders then he walked to the bedroom, I was still looking through the clothes then I finally found the perfect outfit. It was a Versace gold shirt, blue jeans with a blue jean jacket, heart shaped necklace, small diamond earrings and some nice black flats. I got dressed and I put my hair in a high ponytail then I did my makeup, Kennon sat down on the bed and admired my outfit and he said. "You look beautiful baby but what's the special occasion?" I looked at him and said. "Thank you baby and you'll just have to wait and see just get dressed please." I kissed his cheek and walked out the room and I didn't see Rico so I guess that he was in his room getting dressed cause I didn't see him in the kitchen, I decided to finish up the dishes that were left in the kitchen then I called Quan, Jimmie, and Shawn and I tell them that they needed to get their asses over to Rico's house now, then I went to the living room and straightened​ up but I didn't have to do much cause Latrice always kept the house clean. Rico and Kennon came out of their rooms dressed and looking all good so I couldn't complain Kennon sat down on the couch and Rico sat down beside him and said. "Twin what the hell is going on?" I shook my head and sat down I wanted to tell him so bad but I can't, he'll just have to wait and see like everyone else. "I'm not telling you anything you'll just have to wait and see."

Rico sighed and plopped back on the couch like a five year old and I laughed at him, Kennon laughs and goes back to doing whatever it was that he was doing on his phone. I didn't ask what he was doing cause it's none of my business but as long as he's not texting no other bitch then I'm good, But I know that he wouldn't do that to me not after what we just shared but anyway moving on to another subject a few minutes go by and I look out the window and I see Quan, Jimmie, and Shawn pulling up in the driveway so I walk outside to meet them halfway, They all embraced me in a group hug then they stepped back and Quan spoke first. "So little sis what was so important that we all had to rush over here?" I smiled and guided them towards the house and I made them all have a seat before saying. "You'll have to wait just like everyone else." I head back outside and called Latrice cause she should be here for this, I simply told her to come home from work and then I hung up with her. A few minutes later I seen Latrice's car pulling up in the driveway then she jumped out and ran over to me. "Is everything okay, Where's Rico is he okay?" I laughed at her because she was panicking for no reason, Rico was fine once I controlled my laughter I grabbed her hands and said. "Girl Rico is fine he's in the house with Kennon, Quan, Jimmie, and Shawn." Latrice grabbed her chest and said. "Oh thank god girl I thought something happened to my baby." I had to admit that I love the way that Latrice cared about my brother cause none of the other bitches he dated would have gave a damn if I told them to come over here as soon as possible.

But Latrice on the other hand she cared about Rico more than anything else in the world, Latrice decided to go inside and get changed but I stayed outside for awhile I looked up at the sky and said a few silent prayers. I prayed that everything would just go smoothly for the rest of the day nothing could possibly go wrong or at least I hoped not, 15 minutes later I seen mommy's car pulling up in the driveway I got extremely excited I hopped off the porch and ran towards mommy's car I was going to be the first one to give papi a hug. Mommy got out of the car then I hugged and kissed her, "Hola mija how are you doing?" I smiled then said. "I'm doing better than before mommy." She hugged me and kissed my forehead then I heard the another car door open then, I heard papi clear his throat and say. "So you're just going to forget about me?" I turned around and ran towards my daddy like I was a little girl again, I hugged him so tight that I thought that I was squeezing the life outta him. I finally let go and I felt the tears forming but I didn't let them fall. "Awwwwwww princessa I missed you too." We walked towards the house and I told mommy to go inside first so that papi could be a surprise, I told papi to wait right here for a minute mommy went inside and I heard Rico say. "Mommy what's the surprise Ashanti won't tell me." Quan got up and let mommy sit down. "Thank you mijo." Mommy said as she sat down then she looked at Rico and said. "Well hello to you too mijo." Rico put his head down and sighed, Then he got up and walked over to mommy and hugged her. "Lo sieñto mommy I'm just wondering what the surprise is." Mommy smiled and kissed his forehead then she told him to sit down, I stood by the door trying not to laugh at papi because he was making funny faces but I held my composure well I was ready to let papi in but I had to wait for mommy's signal.  Mommy looked at Rico and said. "Oh mijo soon enough you will know what the surprise is just be patient mi amor."

A few minutes later mommy's phone rung and I knew that it was time cause papi wasn't by the door anymore, He had stepped away from the door so nobody would hear him talking to mommy, Mommy looked at her phone and she put the call on speaker phone. "Hola mi amor, How are you doing?" Everyone was listening to mommy's conversation cause they knew that it was papi, I smiled because I knew that papi was standing beside the house but nobody else knew that so I kind of felt special. "Catalina I'm good mi amor, just missing you and the kids." Mommy smiled and looked around at all of us, I could tell that Rico wanted to yell but he was holding it in. I kinda laughed at Rico's facial expression cause he was dying to say something but he couldn't, Rico bounced​ up and down like a kid hyped up on candy and mommy gave him that look which made him stop. "We miss you too we can't wait for you to come back home." I slipped back outside to the side of the house and papi winked at me then he handed me the phone. "This is a telephone observer you have 1 minute remaining." I handed the phone back to papi and he winked at me then I went back inside, Everyone was on the edge of their seats and heard papi say. "I know mi amor and I can't wait to be home either but I love you Catalina." And just like that the phone disconnected I couldn't lie papi did that pretty smoothly, Then there was a knock on the door so I knew that it was time to put my acting skills to work. I opened the door and there he was in the flesh my papi I screamed which made Quan, Rico, Jimmie, Shawn, and Kennon jump up and run to the door Rico looked. "I'll be damn this can't be happening papi is that you?" Quan looked as if he was about to pass out, Jimmie looked as if he had seen a ghost, Shawn looked as if he was looking in a mirror cause he looked just like papi, and ​Kennon just backed up I guess he was still scared of papi. Which is totally understandable but I imagine that once papi knows the full story about everything I'm sure that papi and Kennon will be on good terms, The only thing that was missing from this picture was my prince I missed my baby boy so much and I couldn't wait to see him again.
