I heard Rico walking towards the bathroom then he stopped and knocked. "Shanti are you okay?" Lord knows that I wanted to say yes but I would technically be lying because honestly I was still in shock by what Kennon asked me and most importantly my response, I heard Rico knocking again and this time he was jiggling the door knob. "Twin I know that you hear me!" I sighed​ then​ turn the water on to wash my hands I don't know why in the hell he was rushing me but he could wait. "I'll be out in a minute damn." I hear​ him walking back towards the kitchen so I dry my hands then I open the door and walked to the kitchen and sit down at the table, I see Latrice getting ready for work and I see Rico cooking Latrice looks at me and she can tell that I have something on my mind but before she can say anything Rico speaks. "So how did it go with you and Kennon did you and my patna talk?" I waited a few minutes before I answered because I didn't just want to come right out and say it because who knows what will happen if I do. "Yeah we talked were good." I sighed and Latrice kissed Rico then she walked over and hugged me and whispered. "We'll talk when I get home from work." I shook my head okay then Rico sat a plate down in front of me and he sat down across from me. "So tell me what happened when you asked Kennon what were you two?" I pretended not to hear him at first then he saw that I was ignoring him. "Twin I know that you hear me!" I sighed cause he was really starting to get on my last nerve and Latrice knew it she grabbed her things but before I could say anything Kennon interrupted me. "Morning y'all there's my fiancee I was wondering where you went." Latrice stopped dead in her tracks and Rico chocked on his juice and looked at Kennon then me. "Kenn what did you just say?" By now I had stuffed my face with food so I wouldn't have to answer any questions.
