Losing The One You Love

The Return

A month had flow by and tomorrow Yo would be arriving back to campus, his mothers treatment went well and she was allowed to come back home. Yo was excited about that, but he was most thrilled about seeing his boyfriend Pha. Although the last month wasn't the greatest for either of them, concerning their relationship, Yo still couldn't help but feel excited about seeing him again. After all, Pha did say he really missed him and spent almost every night in his room. 

Yo was going to visit home first to see his dad and let him know how things went then catch a cab back to his dorm. He had hoped Pha might have been able to pick him up but unfortunately Pha and the other medical students had intense labs to do. When Yo arrived back to his dorm he was given a surprise welcome home from his friends, Ming, Kit, Beam and Forth. Pha was nowhere to be seen, nor Jackson but it wasn't long before Pha came running towards his dorm room, claiming to be stuck in traffic after going to the mall. It was great having the gang back together so they decided to all got out to dinner together. As they were leaving Pha asked Beam and Forth if they could go pick up Jackson, as he was still having car troubles. Beam response in kind "Why don't you go pick him up since you've been spending so much time with him lately?" Yo was surprised to hear that, as far as he knew Pha didn't go out much at night, at least not according to what he was told. 

Ever since Yo went away Beam felt something was off with Pha. He was spending way too much time with Jackson these days. He was worried that something may be going on between them but had no proof as of it. I mean it could all be a misunderstanding Beam thought, but he gladly shared his views with Kit. Kit had reassured him that Pha was probably only hanging out with him because he didn't have his sweet Yo to cuddle with and so decided to spend some free time with his friend. Stating that it was normal for friends to want to hang out together. Beam had to agree that it was possible, but he couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong.

"Can't you pick him up please, I want to spend as much time with Yo as possible. I haven't seen him in a month. How would you feel if Forth went away for that long?" Pha replied. Truthfully he didn't think he could handle having both Yo and Jackson in the car. Jackson may be ok with him still dating Yo but he sure as hell knew Yo would flip a switch if he ever found out about Jackson. Beam nodded his head in understanding, knowing that he'd feel the same way if Forth ever went away for a long period of time, agreed to pick up Jackson telling Pha that he owed him one. 

They went to a little 5 star restaurant owned by Kit's family called Silver Platter. They all sat round the table. Forth sat next to Beam, Kit next to Ming and Pha had Yo and Jackson on either side of him. They ordered their food and while waiting for it to be served they spoke of many things.  Talking about school, plans for the upcoming weekend, anything interested that happened while Yo was away. Once the food had arrived they all dug in. It was really delicious, by the time they had finished it all they were so stuffed they could barely move. It was 10pm by the time they decided to head back to their dorms, sleep was calling out their names. They each said goodbye to one another then headed off to their rooms. 

It was a quiet trip back for Pha and Yo. Yo still couldn't get the words of Beam out of his head.

  Why don't you go pick him up since you've been spending so much time with him lately?  

Curiosity getting the better of him Yo asked "I didn't know you hung out with Jackson much while I was away. You always told me you were busy studying or sleeping in my room."

Pha didn't know how to respond to that. What could he say? He couldn't tell Yo the truth so he just replied "Oh that. Yeah I did hang out with Jackson a bit, but during lunch time. Which was good because Kit and Beam spent most of their lunches at the engineering facility seeing their boyfriends. If it wasn't for him I would of spent lunch time alone and wouldn't of been able to get any work done because I would of been constantly thinking about you."

Yo felt relieved on hearing Pha's response. It gave him that butterfly feelings in his stomach to know Pha missed him while he was away. Although it had been ages since they had last done it. and it wasn't too pleasant, Yo was craving to have a touch of Pha tonight, even if they didn't go all the way. He hadn't been able to touch his boyfriend in a month and he desperately craved it. So while they arrived back to their dorms Yo asked Pha if he wanted to sleep in his room tonight, clearly sending signals that he wanted him. However Yo was more than a little disappointed when Pha had declined his offer, stating he was extremely tired (even faking a yawn), but promised him another time. Pha then gave Yo a kiss on his forehead, saying goodnight, promising to have breakfast with him tomorrow, and headed off to his room. Yo just stood there with a strange look on his face. He's never known Pha to refuse to sleep with him, even if all they did was sleep. Choosing to ignore his query he headed to his room and prepared himself for bed. It didn't take long for him to enter the dream realm and soon he was in a deep sleep.
