Yo's Unsuspecting Heart

Last night while Pha was having his fun, Yo kept trying to call him. He was worried because Pha had never ignored him like this and he was worried something might of happened to him. The morning after when Pha was finally dressed he checked his phone only to notice several missed calls and texts from his boyfriend. Worry appeared on his face, he didn't know how he was going to explain why he didn't respond last night. Maybe he could convince Yo he was busy studying and left his phone on silent. Just as he was about to head out the door his phone rang again, as Yo was calling yet again. Hesitant to pick it up, fearing what Yo was going to say, he puts it back into his pocket and walks out to his car to head back to his dorm. Luckily for him he had no plans that day so he could take his sweet time getting ready.

Pha had only just arrived to his dorm when he heard a loud knocking on his door. He got up from his bed and as soon as he opened the door was bear hugged by his loving boyfriend Yo. Yo then broke away from the hug with teary eyes, trying to hold himself back from crying. After a few minutes Yo finally spoke up "Where were you last night? I tried reaching you but you didn't answer. I even came and checked your dorm but you weren't here. I was so worried about you. Did I do something wrong, is that why you were avoiding me?" "No, of course not Yo, I was busy studying and had my phone on silent" Pha said a little guilty. "I went out to a cafe to study but I was so tired that when I got back to my car I fell asleep almost instantly. I woke up sometime this morning." Yo being the concerned boyfriend he is asked "Do you feel ok? I bet sleeping in a car the whole night made you feel uncomfortable. Don't do that again please. I thought you had gotten into an accident." "Don't worry Yo, I promise I won't do that again. Give me 10 minutes to get ready and we can go out for breakfast what do you say?" "Sure, mind if I wait in here for you?" "Of course not baby. Take a seat on the bed and I'll be done soon."

After Pha was showered and dressed he drove Yo to the nearest food stall and they had a quick breakfast of porridge as Yo had a group project he needed to work on today. While enjoying their time together Jackson had messaged Pha about going on a date this coming Friday. There was a new movie out called 'Killer Brides' which was supposed to be the hottest new horror film out and Jackson was always scared to watch horror movies alone. Seeing the text put a large goofy smile on Pha's face as he readily agreed to the date. Yo stared at Pha wondering what was making him this happy, who was he texting that made him that giddy.

 "Pha, who are you talking to?" Yo inquired. Pha was still in his only little world as he kept texting Jackson about Friday night and was so excited about going on their first date that he didn't even hear Yo talking to him. Yo had to click his fingers in front of Pha's face to bring his attention back. Yet again Yo asked who he was talking to. Pha not wanting Yo to know about him and Jackson, just said it was one of his class mates. Yo wasn't fully convinced, he thought Pha was hiding something from him and digged deeper. "So, you're 'friend' is more important that your boyfriend right now? You know I have to meet my angel gang and work on our group project that I won't be able to see you tonight, since it's due on Monday." Yo replies a little sad. 

Upon hearing Yo's response Pha tries to find a way to cover this up. "I'm sorry Yo" he says hoping Yo didn't notice how he sounded a little nervous. "Ummm....I was talking to my...friend because I am...." he thinks quickly "planning a surprise for you. You know to celebrate our time together." Yo's face lit up like a christmas tree, full of joy and wonder at how he at scored himself the 'perfect' man. "Look I have to go. One of the professors needs to see me right away. Can you ask Ming to drop you at the  school library today" Pha said as he grabbed his things, paid for the meal and gave a quick kiss on Yo's forehead. Yo didn't know what to make of it, but if a professor needed to see Pha it wasn't good to be late. Yo gave Pha a silent nod and waved goodbye. 

Truthfully Pha wasn't called to see any professors but Jackson had texted him that his car broken down and needed help. True Pha could of been honest with Yo about this, but he didn't want Yo to think something was going on between them, even if something was. Yo just sat there, grabbed his phone and texted Ming to pick him up, explaining why his precious Pha couldn't do it. Ten minutes later Ming arrived, with Kit, and they drove Yo to meet his friends. Yo was so clueless as to what was really going on with Pha, he thought everything was good between them. Having no idea that Pha wasn't as loyal as you'd hope.
