Losing The One You Love

Lunch Date Ruined

Once they were all introduced to each other they sat down and began to order some food. The angel gang kept teasing Yo on how he could meet someone so handsome. He's no Pha that's for sure, but he had his own charms. Yo sat down next to Caleb and while everyone was looking through the menu deciding on what to have, he explained why his friends were all here. They were just looking out for him. Caleb fully understood and thought it was nice that Yo had such amazing friends. 

They had been sitting around enjoying the food and company for quite some time, getting to know Caleb in the process. Caleb informed them how he decided to work for his dad instead of going to university, how during his first year of working his boyfriend at the time was cheating on him and how he finally found out on their 2nd anniversary. Ming was eyeing Caleb the whole time, but nothing about him seemed off. When he would talk about his life Ming could tell he was being honest, especially about the ex boyfriend. He had only just met the guy but was liking what he was seeing. He was definitely going to have to ask what his intentions towards Yo were. Ming didn't need someone else coming in, sweeping Yo off his feet just to break his heart again. 

It had been a couple of hours since they arrived and everyone was having a blast. Yo seemed truly happy at this moment but that happiness didn't last long. 

Yo had gotten up to use the restroom and before he had gotten 5 metres he saw it, or more precisely them. Just outside the restaurant Pha and Jackson were walking hand in hand, although Pha looked a little banged up. Neither one of them noticed Yo standing there as they walked by. Yo couldn't believe his eyes, it hadn't even been two weeks and yet Pha was seemingly flaunting his new man. What hurt worse was Pha telling him the other day that he still loved him. I guess this was all part of Pha's act. He didn't love Yo, and maybe he never did, he just wanted to keep him around as a toy. Someone he could come to when he couldn't be with Jackson. 

Yo didn't know when it happened but next thing he knew was he was laying on the ground, crying. Tear were falling from his eyes like a river. People were beginning to stare at him. It didn't take long for his friends to notice the state he was in. They quickly paid for their meal, picked up Yo, and left. They decided to bring Yo back to his dorm, he was in no condition to do much else than lay in bed. No one knew what had brought this one but one could guess it had Pha's name written all over it. 

Yo didn't say anything for hours, he just kept crying, letting those tear flow down his face. Caleb and the angel gang had left once they dropped Yo at his dorm while Ming, Kit, Beam and Forth took Yo to his room and got him nice and comfy in his bed. Eventually Yo cried himself to sleep and was just resting there comfortably. Kit crawled up next to Yo and was cuddling him as he cried, finally going to sleep. Kit was about to let go when Yo grabbed hold of him tighter, afraid to let go. With no other option, Kit laid next to Yo for the rest of the night as he sleep, ultimately falling asleep himself. 

Yo still wasn't talking the next morning when he woke up. It felt like a hundred knives were stabbed directly into his heart. He wondered how much more of this he could take before it ended up killing him. It was already eating away at his soul. He didn't think it was fair that while Yo sat here suffering Pha got to go out and enjoy his life, his new life with Jackson. 

Around lunchtime Ming had arrived with food for all 3 of them, Kit having decided to skip class for today in order to be here with Yo. During their meal Yo finally opened up as to what had set him off yesterday. He had seem Pha and Jackson apparently happy while on what looks like to be a date. Both Ming and Kit were appalled at Pha's behaviour. Didn't he care at all about Yo's feelings? Neither one could understand how Pha could be so selfish and self-centred. Ming wanted to give Pha another beat down, but Kit wouldn't hear of it, threatening to not have sex with Ming for 2 months if he ever did. 

Beam and Forth came around for dinner and when Kit explained what happened yesterday they were both furious. Forth even contemplated getting his engineering friends to give Pha another lesson, the first one obviously wasn't effective enough. After a few hours of just hanging out in Yo's room, it was getting late. Yo had assured them that he would be fine. They could go back to their rooms and get a goodnight sleep. Ming was worried that Pha might come back and try something, but Yo promised to keep his door locked and not let anyone in his room. 

The guys then said their goodnight's and headed off to their dorms, leaving Yo all by himself. Yo decided to give Caleb a call, hoping he was still up. He just wanted some encouraging words from him, to help him through the night.  Caleb answered his phone after the second ring and was surprised Yo was calling him this late but turned on his concern mode when he heard Yo crying loudly. Despite needing to get up early for work the next day he stayed on the line with Yo for a couple of hours, just talking about this and that, helping Yo through this mess. Yo was glad he met Caleb. He didn't know how he would be able to handle this without him. His friends have been helpful through all this, and he's damn lucky to have them, it's just Caleb knows what he's been through and it's nice to be able to talk to someone who understand.
