Far From Over

Ever since Beam and Kit found out about Pha's unfaithfulness they've barely spoken a word to him. The way Pha was acting clearly showed he wasn't at all sorry for hurting Yo. Pha clearly didn't care about Yo or his feelings. It did shake Kit a little. He was worried that one day Ming would do that to him, since Ming was once a playboy. However Ming sensed Kit's uneasiness and never failed to show Kit everyday how much his boyfriend really meant to him. Through his actions he was able to prove to Kit that he's feelings were sincere and he wasn't planning on letting go anytime in this life. Kit felt like he was on cloud 9.

Beam wasn't fazed by it. He knew Forth loved him deeply and would never hurt him in such a manner. He could see it in all the little things Forth did to him. Beam may have had doubts in the beginning of their relationship but by now Forth had shown Beam over and over again and he wasn't going anywhere, that Beam was his life. Neither couple could live without the other, They had truly found their soulmates.

When they had found out about Caleb's sex tape, and his upcoming wedding to his supposed lover they couldn't help but feel for Yo. They could clearly see Yo had started to fall for Caleb. To Kit it had looked like Caleb was in love with Yo too. His face always lit up in the presence of Yo, whether it was in  group setting or just the two of them. Ming and Kit had sometimes ran into those two while on a date. It was sweet Kit thought. Yo was finally moving on from Pha. I guess I was wrong Kit said to himself. Caleb clearly had someone else, though why he didn't tell anyone was a mystery but he probably had his reasons.

No one had any idea that this was all sort of a bigger scheme. This was all done so that Caleb would once and for all be removed for Yo's life, forever. They were so blissfully unaware that their now ex best friend was behind everything. That it was Pha's way to keep Yo single, so he could claim him when the time was right. Since that day in Yo's room Pha hadn't bothered Yo or his friends again. He kept to himself mostly, due to the fact most of the university hated Pha for what he did. They heard through the grape vine that not long after the school year started back up that Jackson and Pha had broken up. Rumours had it that they've been having problems since day 1. It wasn't a surprise to the others. They all knew it was going to happen sooner or later.

Now when the news of Caleb had broken Ming had rushed to Yo's side like the loyal and trustworthy best friend he is. He wanted to make sure Yo was ok, and didn't fall back into old habits of staying in room for days at a time, not taking care of himself. Yo had told Ming not to worry. Yes it had hurt finding out the 'truth' but he was ok. He had no claim to Caleb. Caleb was a good, honest, kindhearted man. Yo had probably misinterpreted Caleb's true intentions. Caleb was just being a good friend Yo had told Ming. Ming wasn't fully convinced but he let it go, he knew not to push Yo to breaking point. He may seem soft and fragile but if you push him too deep he can go crazy.

Over the next few weeks life went on like normal. Ming, Forth and Yo went to classes, while Beam and Kit went to the hospital to complete their internship. Beam and Kit were lucky to be working together in the ER department, so they always had lunch together, sometimes joined by their boyfriends.

It had been over a year since Beam and Forth got together, both parents approving of their relationship, and Forth wanted to take the next step. They were so in love, nothing and no one could tear them apart. In the early days people kept trying to flirt with Beam but during one lunch time in the medical facility, after yet another person confessed to Beam, Forth had put his foot down. Claiming Beam in front of all the students, marking him, letting them all know that Beam was taken and to back off or else. He wanted to make Beam his, for life, just another way to let people know that Beam belonged to him and no one else. Forth contemplated waiting till after they both finished university before he proposed to Beam but it just didn't feel right. He wanted Beam to be his as soon as possible. Living without him was impossible. He found it hard to function just being away from him for a couple of days.

Ming and Kit's relation however was a little different. Even after Kit had accepted to be Ming's boyfriend it took some time before he got used to all the pda Ming would show him. It's not that he didn't like that but this was his first serious relationship and with a guy no less. He was scared a little that Ming would get bored now that he had his prize. Eventually Ming was able to show Kit that he was real, that his feelings for Kit weren't just a temporary thing. They were the real deal and Ming wasn't going anywhere. While Ming's family were accepting of Ming and Kit's relationship it took a lot of effort to convince Kit's family to accept them, but they persevered and in the end won over Kit's family. It was a blessed day for both of them.

Pha had rarely crossed anyone's mind these days. Occasionally Beam and Kit would see Pha at work, but luckily for them he was in a different department so they rarely crossed paths. A small part of them missed their friendship with him but Pha had made no effort what so ever to reconcile. They could have easily done that themselves but they couldn't stand to be with Pha knowing he clearly didn't care about the damaged he caused. Beam was more that a little shocked when Pha was trying to defend his actions that night, instead of just admitting the truth. Not all friends are with you for life and Pha was now one of them. It was weird at first not having him, considering they have been together since elementary school, but it was something they got used to in the end.

If only they had paid a little more attention to Pha, only seen the way he was behaving lately, then maybe they would of seen the real Pha. Would of seen that the Pha they thought they knew was just a disguise and the real, true, version of Pha was a lot more dangerous. Maybe then they would of foreseen what was about to happen. You can't blame them though. Pha can charm anyone into thinking he's a saint, even his own parents. Despite Pha's cheating scandal no one thought twice that Pha was capable of doing something so evil as to hurt his ex best friend's lovers. He may not be a faithful boyfriend but he was still a kind and caring person, never once trying to defend himself from all the attacks that came his way when the news had broken. He didn't fight back at all but let everything come his way. He was slowly starting to earn back the respect of his peers. Which was what he needed. No one would dare think twice that he was the one behind all this chaos that was about to strike. Shit was about to go down and there was nothing anyone could do to stop the onslaught from happening. Beam and Kit, Pha thought to himself, you better be prepared.
