Yo was sitting in his facilities cafeteria after classes with his angel gang, working on his latest assignment while having a light afternoon snack. Things have been going rather well for Yo recently. 2 months into the school year and Yo had managed to keep his top ten placing. His friends and family were proud of all the hard work he was putting into his studies. Yo wasn't letting anything, not even his past, affect his school work. He wanted to prove to everyone that he was a smart and capable person.

Yo was in focusing on his assignment when Caleb strolled into the cafeteria and took a seat right in front of him. Yo was too caught up in his studies that he hadn't noticed Caleb's arrival. It was Caleb's day off so he thought it would be a nice surprise to drop by and take Yo out to dinner. "Hey Yo, are you free tonight?" Caleb inquired. Yo was startled by Caleb's presence that he almost fell off his seat. "Oh Hi Caleb. I didn't see you there. Yes I'm free later. Why?" Yo asked. "I was wondering if you'd like to come to dinner with me. We haven't gotten to hang out in sometime due to your studies and my work" Caleb stated. The angel gang was paying heavy attention to the conversation once Caleb had arrived. "Oh look Yo, you got yourself a hot date tonight" Monty mocked. "Shut up" Yo snapped back.

Monty, being the sassy bitch that he was interrupted their conversation "Can we join too, or do you just want to spend some alone time with your boyfriend?" Yo was shocked at Monty's comment. Sure Caleb was a nice guy, very attractive, seemed trustworthy but he wasn't sure how he really felt. He hasn't known Caleb that long. Did he like him as a friend or was there something more to it, and besides, who said Caleb liked him that way. "Of course you guys can. The more the merrier" Caleb said happily. Although the angel gang were strange at times he had to admit they were fun to hang out with. Amongst the squeals from his angel gang Yo got his phone out "I'm just going to text the others" (referring to Ming, Kit, Beam and Forth) Yo replied. "It wouldn't be fair not to include them" Caleb spoke. Once Yo was done texting his friends he tried going back to his assignment, but couldn't get any work done since his angel gang were fawning over Caleb loudly. "Yo, if you don't want him can I date him?" Elephant jokingly questioned. "Yeah, why is it all the hot men come after you? You're not even that cute. Why can't one of them look my way?" Monty dramatically adds.

An hour later they had all arrived at this quaint little restaurant just by the riverside. It wasn't easy fitting 11 people around a small table but at least everyone was nice and cosy. The night was so beautiful. It was neither too cold or too hot and not a hint of rain anywhere. Caleb was forced to sit in between Monty and Elephant. They were trying to interrogate Caleb's true intentions towards Yo. Hoping to find out if he secretly had a crush on him. So far Caleb was able to avoid all their questions but it was quite tiring dealing with those 2 all night. As the night wore on the drinks kept coming, even Yo who wasn't a heavy drinker had a few too many that night. They were all laughing, smiling, having a good time with great food and even better company but alas it was time to head home. Everyone either had class or work in the morning and they all needed a good nights sleep.

Ming had opted to drive Kit, Beam and Forth home as he didn't drink too much, knowing he'd be the one to drive home. He knows how Kit and Beam can get while drinking and Forth, well he just likes to have some fun. The angel gang all took a cab back to their respective dorms leaving Yo and Caleb behind. Caleb offered to drive Yo back to his place. He didn't drink a lot and wanted to make sure Yo would get back to his dorm safely. With a cute face like Yo's anything could happen if he tried going home on his own.

While Caleb  was driving he looked over to Yo's tired face, admiring at how it made him look even cuter than he already was. He mentally slapped himself, how could he think Yo was cute, they were just friends after all. He didn't understand it himself yet but there was something about Yo, the same thing that had drawn him in the first time they met. They sat there in silence for awhile till Caleb decided to speak up "Ummm, Yo" Caleb said softly. "Yeah?" Yo replied. "I was just curious if you wanted to go watch a movie with me this weekend?" he nervously spoke. Yo was quite surprised by Caleb's question. "As in, like a date?" Yo questioned. "Not a date exactly. More like 2 friends just hanging out. We can grab dinner afterwards if you'd like?" Caleb put out the idea. "I know you're probably not ready to date, and I'm not even sure of what I'm feeling right now. I just know I like spending time with you" he continued. "Yo, you may not realise this but you're a pretty cool guy. You have great friends, you're fun to be around and really cute too." Yo started to blush. "I just think it would be nice to spend some time, just the two of us. I mean if that's ok with you of course" Caleb added.

Yo thought about it for a minute. Did he really want to go down this path? Caleb didn't say it was a date, not exactly, but it sure felt like it would be one. Yo wasn't sure if he was ready to date just yet. He may be over Pha but that still didn't mean he was ready to trust anyone with his heart just yet. "We'd be going, just as friends right?" Yo spoke out. "Of course Yo. I wouldn't do anything you weren't comfortable with. If it's too much then we don't have to do it" Caleb said with a slight hint of sadness. He was really hoping Yo would agree to this idea. Another minute went by and they had finally arrived at Yo's dorm. Before Yo headed off to his room he turned to Caleb "Sure. I'd love to. Just let me know the time and place." He then waved goodbye and entered the building. Caleb sat there in his car for a few minutes, smiling, happy that Yo had accepted his friend date. Who knows maybe what he feels for Yo is more than just a friendship, maybe they were destined to be together? Only time will tell.
