Losing The One You Love

New Perspective

It was lunchtime before either of these 2 woke up. The others were already up and had breakfast, but decided to let these two crazy cats sleep in because they wanted to go exploring. Yo had started to feel better and wasn't so angry with Pha anymore that he decided to ask Pha to sleep in his room tonight. To be honest he did miss cuddling with his boyfriend and he felt Pha had suffered enough. So when they all gathered around for lunch Yo, who was sitting next to Pha, whispered in his ear. Pha, not wanted to give up his room with Jackson, felt he couldn't refuse because then the others would be very suspicious. Not long after lunch Pha had packed up his stuff and headed to Yo's room, where he saw a tired Yo laying on the bed half asleep. He instinctively went closer and wrapped his arms around him, enjoying the pleasant smell that his dear Yo gave off. It reminded him of all the good times they've had together, all the fun they've had and why he fell in love with Yo in the first place.

When the trip was over, and they had all packed up ready to head back to school, Pha had promised himself that he wouldn't make Yo suffer like that again. He still wanted Jackson but he was going to make sure Yo had no reason not to trust him. He didn't know how it could be pulled off but he was sure gonna try his hardest to keep Jackson, but also keep his Yo happy and unsuspecting. There was also his friends. He didn't want them to find out anything because 1 they would hate him for it and 2 they would tell Yo. He had a feeling that Beam was a little weary of himself and suspected that something fishy is going on. Pha knew he was going to have to work hard to make Beam believe that nothing is wrong, that everything is going well. 

Almost 2 months have passed by since that weekend away and everything seemed to be going well. Pha was being a loving and caring boyfriend, making sure to never miss a date again. Yo was no longer mad at Pha for that horrid night but they still haven't had sex because Yo was still a little worried. It didn't bother Phat one bit because he could always get sex from Jackson and he did, a lot. It was hard finding time for both Yo and Jackson but Pha had managed to convince Yo that Tuesday and Thursday nights, as well as Sunday's was their alone time away from each other. His excuse was it gave them time to study without distractions, claiming being so close to Yo makes it harder to study when all he thinks about is him, when in reality he just wanted to have some alone time with Jackson. 

During this time he was able to seemingly convince Beam that he wasn't hiding anything and that his reasoning for acting a little off before was because he was stressed. To be fair it was a little stressful keeping up both relationships but he knew he couldn't quit either one. Each one of them had their uses. Yo being the good doting boyfriend, making sure he eats right, gets plenty of sleep, taking  care of him when he's sick. Jackson on the other hand was more for his personal pleasure. 

Yo's birthday way coming up and Pha had to work hard to come up with the 'big' surprise that he told Kit and Beam he was preparing. He thought long and hard and decided to go on a little getaway just the two of them to a small little island that Yo has dreamed about visiting since he was a kid. He wanted to do it on Yo's birthday weekend but Yo was going to be away on the Saturday with his family so Pha had organised it for the following weekend. They were going to go away for 3 days and 2 nights to a beautiful island resort. Yo had no clue it was coming, but Pha had decided to tell his friends so they could help with surprising Yo. They were going to tell him about the trip on his birthday. His friends both agreed that Yo would love it, it was so romantic and sweet.

 Beam didn't understand why it took so long to organise though, I mean he mentioned he was working on it nearly 2 months ago. Pha had to think quick on his feet and came up with a 'brilliant' idea that he had also hired someone to paint a portrait of him and Yo together the night they became official. He said he found a photo on Yo's phone from that night and thought it would be a great memory for them to share and the reason it took so long was because he wanted it to look right and not just a rush job. Beam and Kit both loved the idea. They felt it was the perfect gift to capture their relationship together. Pha was happy that his friends were able to buy his lie but he knew he had to come up with the goods somehow so he spent the next couple of days looking for a painter who would be able to finish it by Yo's birthday. He was lucky that there was one guy who was able to do by the Saturday, the day before Yo's birthday. It was pretty pricey and the guy lived 4 hours away but it didn't matter to Pha because now everything was in place. Pha was lucky that Yo was away Saturday so he could go pick it up without Yo wondering where he went. He figured he would ask Jackson to accompany him since it was such a long trek there and back and it would be nice to have someone to talk to.
