Losing The One You Love

Years Gone By

A few years have gone by since Pha had woken up from his coma and his situation was no better. He was still unable to move from the neck down and he couldn't even communicate with anyone. His lost memories have yet to return and he wonders if they ever will. In a passing conversation his mother and father were having one day Pha had discoved that he and Yo had broken up some time ago. He couldn't understand why this had happen and it pained him so much. He would give anything to see Yo one last time, anything. His friends had never dropped by either, clearly they must have had a falling out but he couldn't remember what it was about. If only he had his damn memories then everything would make sense. Pha truly hated how his life had turned out. He had lost the one he loved, lost his best friends and was now confined to a bed for the rest of his life. Not a day goes by that Pha doesn't secretly beg for the sweet release of death. He hoped someone would show mercy on him and just end his miserable life. Couldn't someone see the pain he was in and just take it all away. It had to be better than living like this for the rest of his life. It just had to be. 

The others however were doing much better. It took 3 years but Kit was becoming more comfortable with Ming's touches. They've had sex but it doesn't happen very often because Kit still gets flashbacks of his days as a prisoner. Ming stands by Kit's side through everything, reminding Kit that he isn't going anywhere. As long as Ming had his precious Kitkat he was a happy man. They were actually expecting their first child. Both had thought long and hard about this before deciding on adoption, wanting to give one poor child a better life. Luke was 3 years old when he official became part of Ming and Kit's family and they couldn't be happier. Luke had lost both his parents in a nasty fire. Ming and Kit were determined to show Luke just how much he was loved and cared for. Kit still occasionally has these nightmares of what happened to him but they don't rattle him like they used to. With Ming by his side he is able to face them with a new found confidence. He is so lucky to have found Ming. They were truly meant to be together. This was one love story for the ages. 

Forth and Beam were going quite strong. They were currently expecting their first children, through a surrogate woman. They were having twins, a boy and a girl. Both were really excited about the new addition to their family and couldn't wait to hold their little ones in their arms. It took some time before Beam could finally accept himself. Whenever he used to see himself in the mirror it would always bring him to tears. He felt like a monster at times, not worthy to be loved by someone as wonderful as Forth. Forth never once gave up on Beam and was able to show him the beauty that he sees everyday. There were times when Beam would break down into tears but Forth was right there to hold him tight, promising that he'll never let go. Nothing would ever tear these two apart. If Pha couldn't do it then nobody could. They would be together forever. It wasn't easy but they had gone through the worst of it and were finally living their lives as happy as they could be. They were living their own twisted fairy tale. 

Yo struggled a lot more than the others. It was difficult at first. He had times where he just wanted to end it all and take his own life but thanks to his new friend Damian he was able to pull through. It wasn't easy but finally Yo was breaking through his darkness and into the light. During the first year of Damian living in Thailand he had began to fall in love with Yo, not just as a friend but as a potential love interest. He knew Yo wasn't ready for anything just yet considering his past and was never going to force the guy to accept it. He would let everything happen naturally. Almost 2 years later Yo had managed to find the courage to ask Damian out. Over time he had grown to like Damian, even love him. Damian was someone Yo felt strongly connected to, like they were meant to be together. They relationship started off rocky, Yo was still anxious about many things, but over time their love for one another blossomed into something magical. Mr Panitchayasawad approved of Yo's partner, feeling that he was the perfect fit for his son. Yo was moving on from the past and starting his life once again. 

During this time Beam and Kit went back to work as doctors. They had to do another 6 months of study before they could work in a hospital again but it was worth it. Despite Pha being the one to drag them to medical school they grew to love what they do. Forth was working part time at a local engineering firm, he wanted to be there for Beam as much as possible, which Beam really appreciated. Yo and Ming eventually went back to university to finish their studies. Ming didn't want to go back but his Kit had pushed him to finish, knowing how much Ming had always wanted to be an engineer. While Yo was busy studying Damian had gotten a job at Mr Panitchayasawad's company, but like the good, hard working man he was Damian  wouldn't take any hand outs. He was going to work his way from the ground up. 2 years after Yo and Damian started dating Damian had proposed to Yo one Saturday afternoon at a picnic lunch by the beach. It was so romantic and Yo eagerly said yes. He was finally getting his happily ever after.
