It was just over 5 months since Pha and Jackson's relationship started to fall apart, neither one willing to discuss the various problems within. Their once seemingly love filled partnership turned into nothing more than sex and even then there were still struggles. Jackson couldn't shake the feeling that Pha was still deeply in love, or at least still wanted Yo. The thought of that was slowly tearing him apart inside and out. As their internship, which would have them separated for months, drew closer Jackson and Pha drifted further and further apart.
Things between the couple were escalating and quickly. They would constantly fight with one another, even over small, trivial matters. Yelling and screaming vanities, disturbing the neighbours constantly. Pha had also started to spend less and less time at Jackson's place, only really coming over when he wants to tap that ass. Mostly the fights were about their supposed love. Jackson felt Pha wasn't in love with him anymore, wasn't even sure if he ever was to be honest, it was driving him mad. Pha was frustrated. He couldn't understand why Jackson would ever doubt him. Didn't he decide to stay with him, didn't he decide not to fight for Yo? Yeah sure, he kept most of Yo's belongings that were still in his room, and he never took off the ring, but wasn't it enough that Pha had chosen him instead of Yo? Even he wasn't fully aware as to why though.
Late one Saturday afternoon, Pha had convinced Jackson to go to the mall with him. Claiming he wanted to spend more time with him, since lately all they've been doing is arguing. Pha was hoping his little effort here would calm Jackson's questioning heart. It was on their little outing together that Pha saw it, or more importantly saw him, Yo. Yo was standing by himself, observing the scenery around him, when suddenly a young, handsome man (not as good looking as himself Pha thought) came up to Yo and wrapped his arm around him. Upon the arrival of the stranger Yo's face light up like a christmas tree. Pha had never seen Yo look so happy, not even when they were together.
Jackson had turned around, just in time to see Pha clench his fists, fuming. It was almost like smoke was coming out of his ears, he was that furious. When Jackson decided to see what was making Pha so angry he glanced upon Yo and some hot stranger in their own little world. To anyone passing by it looked like Yo and this new guy were on a date, which really got on Pha's nerves. Jackson would of been happy for Yo, as he was able to finally move on from his heartache, but seeing the way Pha was reacting to this was heartbreaking. It was only strengthening his believe that Pha was far from over Yo.
Even if Yo and and this stranger weren't really on a date, you could clearly see the sparks between them, and it made Pha's blood boil. He was so close to losing his temper. Pha was about to walk over there and yank that guys arm away from him but his phone suddenly rang. He looked away only for a second, just to see who was calling, but when he glanced back up both Yo and the mystery man were gone. He tried looking for them but couldn't see them anywhere.
Pha was beyond furious, you could see his anger written all over his face. How could Yo have moved on so quickly, how could this new guy have entered Yo's life and made him so happy? It pissed him off to no end. He was in such a fowl mood that he had completely forgotten who he came here with. It was like Jackson didn't even matter anymore. All he could think about was Yo and that mystery man. It was so frustrating. He may have hurt Yo, may have broken his spirit but to Pha that didn't matter. What was important to him right now was this new guy in Yo's life, who was clearly smitten with the boy. Pha couldn't stand the thought of someone else touching his Yo. Yo was his and his alone. No one would ever take Yo from him, he'd make sure of that.
Jackson, seeing Pha so riled up, tried to calm him down. Knowing full well where his temper could lead him. "Pha?" Jackson spoke quietly, "Shouldn't you be happy that Yo has finally moved on? Now that he's found his happiness there is no reason to protect him." Pha slowly turned to look at Jackson, clearly still agitated. "No one's allowed to make Yo smile like that. No one. That is my job, always has been and always will" Pha replied rather angrily. "But you and Yo aren't together anymore and from the looks of it, he's found someone else. Someone else that makes him happy" Jackson said a little worried. "Why do you need to worry about Yo when you have me now?" Jackson spoke, desperately trying one last time to find out Pha's true colours.
"I will always worry about MY Yo" Pha nearly shouted, startling some nearby people. It was hopeless. Nothing Jackson tried over these last few months were able to bring the old Pha back. The one who took him on dates, romantic getaways, told him he loved him daily. Pha hasn't said I love you to Jackson in almost 2 months, and even before then it always felt a little forced, like he was just going through the motions.
Jackson couldn't take this anymore. He couldn't take being pushed aside, left behind while Pha was pining after his old flame. "I give up Pha. I can't do this anymore" Jackson said brokenhearted. "This isn't working. All we do of late is fight. We don't even talk anymore. I'm sorry but I'm done." With that Jackson walks out, leaving a stunned Pha in his wake. He knew this day was coming sooner or later, but he didn't expect it to hurt this much. Well at least he knows somewhat of how Yo felt when he found out Pha had been cheating. I guess this is what he deserved Jackson thought.
