"Is it just me, or I really don't care, that I don't really miss Vivian?" Sabi ni Min habang nag-aayos ng gamit niya.

"You're not the only one, girl." We agreed with Patty.

"Right? Hindi naman sa masama tayong kaibigan or what. Pero meron namang ways to communicate with her." Paliwanag pa niya.

"And I'm sure Vivian didn't miss us, at all." Adrialyn rolled her eyes.

"Yeah. She will burry herself with paperworks and even forgetting to take her lunch."

"That girl has a death wish."

"Ulcer ang aabutin niya."

"Naku! Kasalanan niya 'yan pag nagkataon."

"Let's go, guys. First day of school. I know you don't wanna miss the fun." Pagsingit ko sa kanila. Baka kung saan-saan na naman mapunta ang usapan namin at first day na first day ay late kami.

Nang makababa kami sa dorm ay nagpaalam na kami sa isa't-isa.

"See you at lunch, girls?" Paalam ni Adrialyn.

Naglakad si Adrialyn papunta sa Gymnasium. First period nila ang P.E.. Si Clara naman ay papunta sa ECA Building para sa first meeting ng club nila for this school year. Sila Min at Patty naman ay kasabay ko papaunta sa Main Building. Nang makababa kami sa shuttle ay naghiwalay na rin kami papunta sa kanya-kanyang klase.

"Hi, Arrissa!"

"Yoww, classmate!"

"Good morning, Arrissa!"

Bumati ako pabalik sa mga kaklase ko. One of the policy I love here in Winsley University ay pwede kang mag-stay sa block/section mo. It's up to you if you want to change your block/section. Since I'm taking up a degree program which is Bachelor of Science in Business Administration common sense na ang mga kaklase ko ay same degree program din ang kinukuha.

Nang makarating ako sa usual seat ko ay nadatnan ko ang isang tangkay ng rosas sa chair ko. Bakante naman ang katabi nitong silya kung saan naka-upo si Gin. Napatingin ako kela Matthew at Jason. Si Jason ay nakayukod sa desk niya at natututlog. Si Matthew naman ay nagbabasa ng libro. Akala ko ay end of the world na nang makita ko kung ano ang ginagawa niya.

Last school year, ni minsan ay hindi ko nakitaan ng interest si Matthew sa pag-aaral. But surprise surprise, he passed the year and even snatched the Top 10 spot in our very own class. I don't know if its a dumb luck o may nakatagong talino si Matthew. Well for me I got the 3rd spot. Aside from that of course there's no surprise that Gin got the highest spot. Sa kapal ba naman ng lens ng glasses niya ay magra-rally talaga ako kung hindi siya ang Top 1.

Kinuha ko naman ang rosas at napansing may nakasabit dito na card. Binuksan ko ito at binasa.

I bit my life to stop myself from smiling. I can feel my cheeks starting to heat up. Nakita ko ang pasimpleng silip ni Matthew sa akin mula sa librong binabasa niya.
