Oh dear God. Wala namang po akong mabigat na kasalanan sa inyo diba? I didn't do anything to anger you. I already apologized to the girls when I lied to them. Wala po talaga akong maalala na kasalanan ko. Pero bakit po ganito? Bakit ngayon pa? Sunod-sunod po ang pagdating ng mga taong bumuo ng buhay ko dato, ano po?

"What are you doing here?" I breathlessly asked the person who just have arrived.

I was expecting that the smile that person was wearing will slip off. Instead it turned more wider and cheerful.

"Hi! Long time no see, Arrissa!" She greeted me like nothing happened in the past.

"I am your planner for this event. Hi. I'm Xindy Bacani. I hope that you will leave this place with a smile," she said like she told that lines a hundred times.

"Xindy," nakatingin si Matthew sa kanya ngayon. Pigil na naman ang galit ko at inis.

"Oh hello, Matthew! How are you?" Masayang bati nito. She even had a nerve to kissed Matthew on the cheek.

Hindi niya lang kay Matthew ginawa iyon. Maski si Jason ay hinalikan niya rin sa pisngi, pati ang assistant ko na hindi pa niya kilala ay hindi nakatakas.

"Phew! Kayo pala ang client ko. Please, hindi naman kayo magagalit kung late ako diba?" Parang naka-plaster ang malawak na ngiti niya sa kanyang mga labi.

Nilapag nito ang bag sa mesa at naupo sa head ng table. I saw how Jason winced and Matthew narrowed his eyes on her. Is something wrong?

Mabilis na tumingin si Jason kay Matthew at nang magsasalita na ay naunahan siya nang pag-iling ni Matthew. Hindi ito napansin ni Xindy na nagbabasa ng menu na nakalagay sa gilid ng tinidor.

"Do you mind if I order something?" Tanong ni Xindy sa amin.

Naunang umiling si Jason at Kaloy, umiling din kami ni Matthew.

"I guess you didn't take your lunch on time, again?" I whispered to the person beside me. I saw how the side of his upper lip lifted. He hummed his agreement. Jason called a server.

I saw Kaloy looking at me. I nodded my head at him and mouthed 'order what you want'.

"Sweet corn lobster croquette, organic spaghetti pasta yung Marinara, and Halo halo harana," order ni Xindy.

"Bistek Tagalog and Chocolate Gateau," si Jason naman ang nag-order.

"Chocolate again, Jason?" Salita sa kanya ni Matthew. Napahawak ito sa batok niya at yumuko ng kaunti.

"Napagod ako sa byahe natin, Matthew. Pangpagana lang. Hehehe," pagrarason ni Jason.

"Casarecce Pasta Vongole and Coffee Panna Cotta," blanko ang ekpresyong salita ni Kaloy. I guess he was a bit put out of Xindy's action while ago.

"Romaine Caesar Salad with Cajun-Spiced Tiger Prawns," salad lang ang in-order ko. Nag-breakfast naman ako sa bahay kanina before I go to work.

"Angus Beef Rib Eye Steak Frites," napatingin ako kay Matthew dahil sa order niya. Ayun na 'yun? Akala ko ba ay nag-skip na maman sila ng lunch?

"For the drinks po?"

"Just a tall glass of iced tea for each one of us," si Matthew na ang sumagot.

"I will be serving your orders. Please wait a moment as it would take a while," he bowed his head on us, respectfully.

I cleared my throat when the waiter left us. They looked at me.

"Can we discuss the party as we wait for the food?" I asked them.
