"Hey Ma-" Azurite then pulls Lapis into a hug.
"Been so long! How's my baby girl?" Azurite asks as Peridot comes walking towards the door behind Lapis. Azurite gulps then fixes her posture.
"Sorry to cause you trouble, Ms. Greene." Azurite says formally bowing over. Lapis snickers then Azurite elbows her on the side. As Lapis rubs the side of her shoulder, Peridot chuckles.
"Please, call me Peridot. And she wasn't any trouble." Peridot says leaning on the door frame.
"It's no problem. Lapis wasn't any trouble... *I was...*" Peridot says quietly as Lapis looks down at her confused. Peridot shakes her head out of it.
"Pardon my manners, come in!" Peridot greets Azurite in as Azurite hesitates. Lapis leads Azurite to the living room as Peridot follows after.
"Are you sure she was no trouble?" Azurite asks Peridot jokingly. They both laugh as Lapis turns flustered.
"She wasn't." Peridot says.
"Azurite Lazuli." Azurite says holding out her hand to Peridot.
"Nice to meet you Ms. Lazuli. I'm already assuming you know me." Peridot says nodding. Azurite nods. Lapis looks out to the both of them with a look of annoyance. Are these people going to talk like businesswomen?! This is a house! Lapis thinks.
"Need a drink?" Peridot asks standing walking towards the bar as Azurite and Lapis take a seat on the couch.
"No thank you-" Azurite says.
"Please, my treat." Peridot says behind the bar counter.
"She wants a frozen strawberry martini." Lapis says as Azurite looks at her.
"Lapis!"
"What? You LOVE those!"
"One frozen strawberry martini coming up!" Peridot says making the martini herself. Lapis and Azurite look at each other.
"Nice house, isn't it?" Azurite says to Lapis as she observes the living room.
"Yeah..." Lapis says.
"So, I'm going home with you right?"
"Of course! I miss my baby girl!" Azurite says hugging Lapis.
"B-but..." Lapis stutters as she looks at Peridot. Azurite looks at Peridot then Lapis and smirks.
"Don't worry. Prince Charming will still see you!" Azurite says nudging Lapis. Lapis turns flustered.
"MOM!" Lapis says while covering her face. Azurite giggles.
"Is she nice? Usually rich people are rude." Azurite asks.
"Yes, she's actually pretty nice and cute too."
"She looks way more good-looking than last year, something happen to her?" Azurite asks as she observes Peridot's body structure. Lapis then gets a tint of blush on her cheeks.
"She has a full gym in her basement. She works out there." Lapis says.
"Is she an actual werewolf?"
"MA!" Lapis then sounds alarmed. Why would my mom suddenly ask that?!
"I'm just kidding... Is she really though?"
"No."
"Aw, too bad... She would've looked more good-looking with ears and a tail." Azurite says. Lapis then blushes.
"Omigod, mam. You're going to kill me." Azurite giggles. Peridot then comes in with a little clean white plate with the frozen strawberry martini on top.
"Here you go, ma'am." Peridot says as she hands over the martini to Azurite.
"Need a tray?" Peridot asks. Azurite nods. Peridot then snaps her fingers to bring in a hovering drink holder next to Azurite's free side. Azurite puts the martini on top and observes in amazement.
"Are you going to keep on amazing me? Or what?" Azurite says as Peridot and Lapis giggle.
"It's just what I do ma'am." Peridot says taking a sit on a different couch in front of them. Lapis gets up to sit next to Peridot. Lapis then scooches closer to Peridot which makes Peridot blush.
"Peridot, I wan't to learn more about you." Azurite says. Peridot nods.
"So-"
