"I feel very out of place here," she said as he pulled at the chair out for her and she sat down.

"You'll get used to it," he smiled.

"What's that supposed to mean?" she asked with a slight smile.

"I hope to be able to bring you here often," he said before a waiter arrived at their table and took their orders.

"The food seem odd," she said eyeing the menu after the waiter had left.

"What did you expect?" he slightly chuckled causing her to scoff.

"I was really expecting anything if I'm honest," she shrugged.

He smiled at her watching as she impatiently played with the silverware on the table.

"I should really stop coming to dates without eating a snack," she sighed as Simon chuckled.

"I think I have a baggy of trail mix in my pocket, let me see," he said as she searched his pockets.

"Wait, I don't think we need t—," she said before she cut herself off when the waiter walked past their table.

"Here it is," he said as he pulled it out and held it out to her. She took it and glanced up at him curiously.

"It's warm," she said as she handed it back to him.

"It was in my pockets," he said taking them back stuffing them into his pockets.

"Why do you even have that on you?" she chuckled as she looked up to see the waiter come to their table.

"Thank you," Simon says in a different voice to the waiter making goosebumps appear on her arms, even though the room was the exact same temperature.

She slightly smiled at the waiter who seemed to have become a bit tense. She watched as the waiter set down the plates as carefully as possible, Simon on the other hand glared when the waiter smiled back at Adele.

"You want some?" Simon asked, referring to the wine that had been set on their table, after the waiter left.

"I usually drink it straight out of the bottle, but I tonight I can make an exception," she joked, although she was technically not joking. She did enjoy having her liquor straight out of the bottle.

He laughed at her comment before pouring some into the wine glasses.

"I never actually found Ferris wheels romantic," she said looking down from the Ferris wheel.

"I always thought they were quite romantic, especially seeing them in romantic movies, you know, but I waited for the right person to be able to go on a date to a fair and get on a Ferris wheel with a special someone," he said looking down as her hands watching the rings she had on sparkle in the bright lights.

She smiled before grabbing a hold of his hand and squeezing it before letting it go.

"The view is quite nice from up here," she said looking around.

"What other rides do you want to go on?" he asked

"That one," she said pointing at the zipper ride across the Ferris wheel.

"We'll go to which ever ones you want," he said as they got closer to the ground.

He held her hand in his as they neared the end of the Ferris wheel ride.

"You're rings are very sparkly," he commented as he turned her hand over to look at the rings.

"They're beautiful aren't they," she gushed.

She stared out of the window in silence as they arrived at her apartment.

"Can I walk you to your door?" he asked.

"That would be lovely," she smiled as he unbuckled his seatbelt and came around to open her side. He held her hand in his and walked her to the front door.

"Well, I had a great time tonight, I hope we'll be able to go on a second date soon," Simon said holding her hands in his as he looked into her eyes.

She bit her lip shyly before giggling.

"Yes Simon, I would love to go on a second date with you," she smiled before biting her lip again.

"You don't even know what I'd give to be able to do that to your lips," he smiled stroking her cheek moving her hair away from her face.

"Simon? Just kiss me you fool," she said before he pressed his lips against her's.
