"Whiskey?" he asked as he poured some into a glass with a couple of ice cubes.

His friend motioned his cup towards him and he poured some into his cup as well. They both looked down at the photos scattered on Simon's desk.

"I don't know what you see in that girl Si," his best friend starts as he picks up a photo of the woman examining it closely.

"What do you know about women Daniel?" Simon challenges as he sips his whiskey.

"Well I know for a fact she looks like no good," he says putting down the photo of the woman laughing.

"Pft, please," he says setting the glass down.

"She's still a fetus compared to you, you could basically be her father," Daniel says.

"Well I would love to hear her call me daddy," he smirked as his friend began laughing.

"You and your disgusting mind," he said rolling his hazel eyes.

"I'm only joking," he said sighing before collecting the photos and putting them into the drawer on the left side of his desk.

"And as I was saying, are you sure about that woman?" Daniel asked.

"I think," he said pouring more whiskey into his glass.

"You think? Simon, buddy, how do I put this so you understand that—" Daniel says before Simon cuts him off.

"She's no good, I could basically be her father, blah blah blah, okay I think I get it Daniel but that isn't changing my mind," he says.

"She drunk called you the other night," Daniel says.

"Don't even start," Simon warns.

"She puked in the Cadillac and you had to buy her new clothes," Daniel says.

"Did you forget—" Simon says before Daniel cuts him off.

"That you're rich and you like to squander your money" Daniel says mockingly as Simon narrows his eyes.

"Not true," Simon says in his defense.

"It's true, stop whining," Daniel says as he gets up from the chair.

"I'm not whining, and you know what, I don't care what you say about the girl I'm going to talk to her, I'm that type of guy all girls drop their panties for," Simon says.

"You're too full of your self," Daniel says.

"No, I'm just saying the truth, I know the truth hurts, but don't worry you'll get over the fact that I'm better than you soon," he smirks opening the door of his office.

"You're a conceited fuck you know that," Daniel says causing Simon to laugh.

"It's funny to hear that coming out of your mouth," he says as they walk down the steps into the main room.

"Man shut up, I'll see you tomorrow," Daniel laughs before opening the front door.

"See you tomorrow," Simon chuckles before shutting the door.

He looks around the empty penthouse before walking toward the piano sitting in the middle of he room. He sits on the leather seat and presses a few keys before looking around the room and flipping through the pages with piano notes in them before choosing to play a song.

He played half of the song before abruptly stopping when the doorbell rang. He pushed the seat back before walking towards the door.

He checked the peep hole before seeing it was his maid. She usually came in twice a week or when needed to clean the penthouse up.

"Hi Mary, I'm going to get going I'll leave the pent to you I know it's in good hands," he said as he grabbed the keys.

"I'll see you later sir," Mary responded before he walked out of the door.

He didn't really have anything to do. He just didn't want to be with Mary all by himself in there. He just found it very uncomfortable.

He walked down the stairs fiddling with his keys until he got out and saw Taylor by the Cadillac smoking a cigar. Taylor looked up at him before putting out the cigar.

"Where to sir," Taylor asked.

"The café," he said before Taylor nodded.
