Chapter 17

She sat down on the bed frustrated as she put her head in her hands. Simon walked into the bedroom as he tied his tie.

"Babe?" he asked as he sat next to her.

"What?" she asked.

"What's wrong?" he asked as he pulled her closer to him.

"None of my clothes fit me at all, I've tried all of my favorite dresses on and they don't fit," she said as she looked up at him.

"I'm sure one fits you, you have many dresses," he said as he went through the closet.

"No those aren't cute at all," she groaned.

"What do you mean? Babe this dress is stunning," he said as he handed it to her.

"Simon you know I'm not much of a fan of clothes like that," she said.

"Come on our it on," he said as he handed it to her.

"Fine," she said as she took the dress.

"Simon this is a maternity dress I don't remember buying one," she said as she walked out of the door after putting it on.

"I got it for you not to long ago, I just didn't tell you," he laughed as he looked her up and down.

"Since when do you go shopping?" she laughed as she looked at herself in the mirror.

"Since you told me you were having our baby boy," he said as he put his arms around her.

"I've bought a couple of baby outfits from some baby stores I went to the other day," he shyly admitted which caused her to smile at him.

"Really Simon?" she smiled.

"Yeah I've hung the clothes up in the baby's room," he said.

"Oh no," she mumbled as she walked into the building.

"What's wrong," Simon asked.

"Don't talk to that dude over there," she mumbled as Simon held her hand.

"Why?" he asked.

"He's my ex, but that's not why, he's just an ass and he just problematic and I don't want him to tell you anything," she said as he squeezed her hand a little.

"He seems like an ass," Simon added.

"He was," she replied.

"He's also ugly, you were really dating that? You've upgraded big time," he chuckled which caused her to slap him lightly on the chest.

"Babe I'm going to go to the bathroom, I'll be back in a bit," she said as she began waking toward the restroom.

"Take your time I'll be here," he replied.

"Simon, hey man how are you?" Alex asked as he walked up to Simon.

"I'm great, what about you man, where's your wife at?" he asked.

"Over there with the girls, you know women, wheres your girl at?" Alex asked.

"She coming right now," Simon said as he saw Adele walking towards him from the restroom.

She narrowed her eyes before raising her eyebrow at Simon before walking towards him.

"Adele?" Alex asked.

"Alex, hey how are you?" she asked.

"I'm great, I can see you're doing great as well, how far along are you?" Alex asked.

"7 months," she replied.

"I didn't know you were expecting Simon, congratulations," Alex said to Simon.

"Thanks," Simon nodded.

"I'll see you guys later, I've got to go see what my girl is doing," he chuckled before leaving.

"Are you feeling alright?" Simon asked as he looked at how pale her skin was.

"Yeah I'm fine just had some nausea that's all," she said as he squeezed her hand.

"We can go home if you're not alright," Simon suggested.

"No, I don't want to ruin the night for you, I'm fine," she said as she smiled.

"Alright, if you're not feeling well just tell me," he said before kissing her lips as she nodded.
