"Babe it's at a normal temperature ," Simon said as he took her temperature.

"My head hurts so much," she said as Simon held her against his chest.

"I'm sorry," he said.

"You really didn't have to miss work because of me," she sniffled before coughing.

"Baby, you're sick, I don't mind staying home with you," he said before she got up and ran to the restroom.

He ran after her to then find her puking. He put her hair into a ponytail and began rubbing her back.

"Babe, I think you might have a cold or are developing the flu," Simon said as he handed her a towel and some mouth wash after she finished.

"Yeah, I think so, or it might be allergies, spring is almost here," she said as she wiped her mouth.

"I doubt it's allergies, c'mon babe we need to put you to bed." he said.

"It's 7 though," she whined.

"C'mon," he said as he helped her up.

She got into bed and snuggled into the bedsheets.

"Come," she said as she patted the empty space next to her. He took off his slippers before getting into bed and wrapping his arms around her.

They both ended up falling asleep. Simon woke up at 4am to see that Adele was no longer in bed. He got up and headed into the restroom where she slept with her head against the wall.

"Baby wake up, lets go to bed," Simon said as she opened her eyes.

She slowly got up and sat on the toilet seat. Simon went through the medicine cabinet looking for something that could help her cold. As he did he realized there were some boxes missing. The pregnancy test boxes. All four of them gone, not in the cabinet anymore.

"Babe," he said slowly as he looked down at her holding four pregnancy tests in her hands. He kneeled down resting his hands on her thighs.

The two digital tests all read, pregnant, and the test had two lines to indicate positive.

"You're pregnant," Simon smiled.

She nodded her head as tears began to stream down her tired face.

"We're having a baby Simon," she smiled before Simon engulfed her into a huge hug.

"I can't believe you're pregnant, after trying and trying we may finally be parents," Simon said as his eyes watered before he placed his lips against her's.

"We're pregnant Simon," she smiled.

Simon put his hand over her tummy before hugging her.

She smiled as she held Simon's hand when the doctor rubbed gel over her tummy.

"How far along are we?" she asked.

"You are about two and a half weeks along," the doctor said.

"We took a test about a week ago and it's said it was negative," Adele said.

"Sometimes those tests might be wrong," she explained.

"When do you think we will be able to meet the baby?" Adele asked.

"The baby may be due around the beginning of November," the doctor said as she ran the wand over her tummy.

"Do you have any tips for us to stay healthy?" she asked.

"Stay active and eat healthy, don't eat things you aren't supposed to eat, don't smoke or drink, pretty basic stuff," the doctor explained.

"My baby died during delivery I would like to know how to prevent that," she said.

"Make sure to move a lot, it helps make delivery easier and also keeps you healthy, and also don't be afraid of the number that come up the scale gaining weight is completely normal," the doctor said.

"Can we see the baby?" Simon asked.

"It's the size of grain of rice," the doctor said as she showed them the little baby on the ultrasound.

"A grain of rice? That's super small," Simon said.

"It'll grow don't worry," she said as she handed them ultrasound photos.

"I'm going to prescribe you prenatal pills, and you're all set," the doctor said as she led them out of he room.

"Your next appointment with me with be in 2 months at the end of your first trimester, or if you ever feel anything's off make an appointment," he doctor explained handing her a card with her next appointment date and time.

"Thank you," she said as she held Simon's hand.

"No problem Ms. Adkins," the doctor said before they left.
