I can see she really likes you

Richie POV

I packed my flashlight into my bag and couldn't stop thinking about what I saw earlier. When Mike pulled Y/N aside to talk, they looked like they missed one another... and then she hugged him.

I'd understand if she missed him. My throat became dry and it felt like I swallowed a dry lump of air.

"Ready to meet the rest of the gang?" Y/N's voice cooed from beside me. I snapped out of my thoughts and faced my girl.

"Yeah, I wonder if we'll find the upside down.." I mumbled, Y/N moved closer towards me and knew something was up. Her arms wrapped around me and she looked up at me.

"What's wrong?" She asked with frowned brows, I exhaled and bit my lip.

"If you want to go back to Mike, I-I understand. I saw the way you hugged him earlier. You miss him. " I replied with a croaked voice. Y/N shook her head, she then hugged me tighter.

"Richie stop. I hugged him because he was concerned. He's also my bestfriend, not just an ex. And I'm not leaving you for him. This is the whole point of moving forwards and moving on, I want you." She replied then dug her head into my chest. I blushed super hard and kissed the top of her head.

"I love you." I whispered, she whispered it back and I couldn't be anymore happier.

Y/N POV

We all met up near sunrose road. This road was close to the Hawkins reserve close to where we found Eleven and close to where Nancy escaped the upside down. Hopefully we find a portal so me and Eleven could close it.

It was 6:34 pm and the moon was up. Our flashlights were shining through the woods, the boys were ahead of us talking while me and the girls are just talking. I was explaining to the girls about what Richie mentioned earlier to me.

"Boy troubles." Max mumbled, Eleven agreed and nodded her head.

"Richie shouldn't be threatened by Mike.- Yeah I know, I told him I didn't want Mike... Boys are complicated, I might as well leave both and just date a random boy named Finn or whatever." I joked while interrupting Beverly.

Eleven then stopped us in our tracks.

"Speaking of boys. I really really like Bill." She mentioned, I raised my brow and winked at her as we all continued walking. Omg this was exciting.

"Do you know if he likes you ba- Oh come on it's so obvious." Max spoke as she interrupted Beverly. I giggled.

"I think you guys are adorable. He's so protective over you El, I admire that." I mentioned smiling at her. She just smiled and looked down.

"You girls take forever. Pick up your speed!" Eddie yelled from a head of us. We all sped walked towards the boys.

"Finally, you guys are like snails. Specially you Y/N. " Dustin mentioned, I gave him a look and raised my brow.

"Don't make me tell Steve. You're picking on me and I am not afraid to tell the big bro." I whispered and nudged his elbow. Dustin groaned and rolled his eyes.

Mike POV

I looked around everywhere, on every tree. I felt as a presence stood next to me.

"Dude, be honest with me. Do you miss her?" Richie asked as he searched with me. I gulped and faced him.

I nodded a no.

"No. I miss what we had. Not her." I replied, Richie just raised his brows and licked his lips.

"What you 'had' involved her, so, you do technically miss her. I'll be honest now... I thought for a second that she only was interested in me to get back at you and make you jealous. But now I see that she means the world to me." Richie replied, my nostrils flared and I faced him again. I shown the flashlight at him.

"She would never do that. And I can see that she, really likes you." I responded.
