Niall's Pov:
The day went by really fast. Before I knew it, it was night. The evening was quiet. The boys spent their time watching tv and I spent most of the time in my room.
I had some chicken noodle soup earlier. I made sure to have the diet pills management provided me. I couldn't risk gaining any weight. The pill bottle was running out. Management will probably just give me more if I ask.
Its 8:00 and I decide to venture outside my room. I figure all the other boys are downstairs watching tv. Walking down the hallway to the stairs, I see Liam outside. He's leaned over on the deck. Both hands are gripping the rail. He looks out over the railing into the city.
I pull open the slider. The outside air was fresh and brisk. Wind blew lightly. I pause for a moment to enjoy the atmosphere. I pull the slider shut and come to Liam's side. The view was breathtaking.
"Hey." I say.
"Niall." He sighs. "Please give me some time alone." His voice is stern.
"You seem upset though. Whats wrong?" I ask him.
"Nothing. Just please leave me alone Niall."
"Just please. You never tell me whats wrong." I tell him.
He turns to face me. "I never tell you whats wrong? You never tell me whats wrong."
"Thats different." I say.
"That is not different!" He tells me. He leaves the porch and goes through the slider.
I wonder whats bothering him. I hope its nothing too bad. Usually, he's not like this.
I'm sure he will be okay.
I look out over the railing. The view certainly is great. The fresh air does feel great. I could tell why Liam liked it out here. I stand on the porch for a couple seconds taking in the atmosphere and the view.
I go inside and shut the slider behind me. I can hear the boys playing video games in the living room. I race downstairs to where they are. They're all playing on the old GameCube.
"Hey can I play?" I ask them.
"Sure! After this race." Louis said. "Zayn you hit me with a red shell!" He shouts.
They're playing mario kart. The boys continued fighting furiously as they raced. They shouted at each other acting like this was the most important thing in the world. They look like a bunch of three year olds.
The match ended. I walked over to the bin to grab a controller. I plugged it into player four and started playing.
Before we started Louis spoke up. "Hey, where's Liam? He could play with us?"
I tried to speak but to be honest, I don't know where he went and Im sure he doesn't want to see me. "Uh, well-" Harry cut me off luckily.
"Lou, you cant play GameCube with 5 people anyway." He points out.
"Good point lad." He says.
We start playing. Lou, Harry and Zayn are screaming at the tv and at each other. I don't understand what the big deal is! Its just a game! Its really fun. But for some reason Im just not into it right now like they are. Usually, I would be but right now Im not.
Maybe its Liam. Maybe he's just on my mind and I cant think clearly. Thats probably it. Its so weird to think that Liam has this much power over me. He's not even here and he's controlling me. He didn't even try.
