On Summer days
I wonder
                              and ask
                              for the clouds.
                              I stand and wish
for the rain
to come down
                              from its high
                              to dry my body
with its
wetness
                              I imagine drops
                              of rain
slowly and sensually
kissing my skin
                              my body burning
with every
                              drop of rain igniting
my body with flames
                              no sun
                              can give me the heat
that the rain can
                              like a downpour of sorrows
finally being released
                              after years of silence
                              I feel every
                              single
                              cry
                              laugh
                              lover
                              in one drop of rain
                              and that one,
that single rain drop
                              revives the blackened
soul
that only the sun could burn
