"Oh my god," Maddox gasped. He bit his lip and made himself keep his eyes focused on the camera. His right hand slid up his chest though all he wanted was to grab onto the bed beneath him. "So close," he warned.

"Ready when you are," RJ, the photographer, nodded at him. "Eyes on me, Dax."

"I-I can't," Maddox's eyes fluttered shut as he came hard after hours of teasing himself, building up to the most incredible orgasm he'd ever given himself. "Fuck," Maddox moaned.

"Beautiful," RJ whispered.

Maddox lay there for a minute, catching his breath and letting his heart come back to normal. He picked up the warm towel, hidden next to the bed so he could clean up as he got to his feet. It took a minute before the rest of the room came into focus. RJ was busy looking at his camera.

"Tell me you got that," Maddox begged.

"Every last drop," RJ winked. "Shower's ready for you. When do you need the finished product?"

"3 months," Maddox said. He'd done his best to pretend it wasn't happening but just after Chloe's first birthday, Brent would be gone for most of a year for his latest tour. "Or, you know, in time for Christmas is okay too."

"Consider it done," RJ said. "I texted you a preview from earlier."

"Thanks," Maddox nodded. He shook RJ's hand before he went to the shower.

Steve was waiting in the lobby with Alex and Damon, his soon-to-be replacements, with him. Maddox had picked them but he knew they would never be as good as Steve. If only Steve hadn't felt like starting a family of his own Maddox might have talked him into staying a few more years.

"Hey, where were you?" Brent asked as Maddox came through the front door. "We woke up and you weren't here, right Chloe?"

"Sorry, I had something," Maddox bit his tongue. "Did you need me?"

"Always," Brent grinned. He tipped his head. "What exactly were you doing?"

"Uh, we talked about this," Maddox said. "Oh, look, Hannah's awake!"

"Daddy," Hannah pouted, dragging her blanket behind her as she walked down the stairs. Her hair was a mess and she was rubbing her eyes.

"Hi sweetie," Maddox picked her up and she put her head on his shoulder. "Do you want breakfast?"

"No, just cuddles," Hannah said.

"Maddox," Brent took his arm. "If I ask Jordan, will he tell me where you were this morning?"

"No," Maddox tried not to look at him.

"Dax!" Brent gasped. "Tell me."

"This is not something we should talk about right now," Maddox smoothed Hannah's hair down and started walking to the family room.

"What have you done?" Brent followed him. "I've known you almost half my life, Maddox, I can tell-"

"Babe," Maddox gave him a warning look.

"You are glowing," Brent hissed.

"I do not glow," Maddox shook his head.

"I hope he was worth it," Brent huffed and stomped away, holding Chloe against his shoulder.
