"Can you move Scarlett's stuff so I can set the table?" Clara asked. Justin grinned and kissed her again.
"Why don't I move Scarlett's stuff AND set the table so you remember I'm the best husband you've ever had?" Justin said.
"Is this where I point out you're the only husband I've ever had?" Clara laughed. Justin let go of her and went to pack up Scarlett's school stuff.
"How's she doing?" Justin asked, looking for the best place to pile her things.
"Good, she loves the rest of the cast," Clara said. "They're being really nice to her even though she's only a temporary character."
"That's good," Justin nodded.
"Actually will you check her schedule for tomorrow?" Clara asked. "I want to be at Aiden's game if she doesn't need a ride."
"We have staff for that," Justin teased. He knew he'd never miss a chance to spend time with his kids and Clara was the same way.
"Yeah, their names are Mom and Dad," Clara grinned at him. "What time is she done?"
"Um," Justin tried to make sense of Scarlett's color-coded, sticker covered planner. "Wait, how do I tell the day?"
"Each day has its own page," Clara said.
"Oh, got it," Justin found the pages Scarlett hadn't decorated yet and worked back from there. "Okay, tomorrow she's done at 11."
"And we think they'll run late so probably midnight," Clara nodded. "Perfect."
"She reminds me of Maddox with her little scribbles and secret notes," Justin flipped through a few more pages of Scarlett's planner.
"Unlike Maddox, Scarlett has a cheat sheet," Clara said. "Flip to the whole month view, you can see what each little abbreviation means."
"I'm good," Justin said but he turned to look at the whole month anyway. "This is cute," Justin shook his head. He ran this finger over the day marked as Scarlett and Ryan's anniversary.
"They're a cute couple," Clara said. "I actually saw them holding hands yesterday. Did I tell you?"
"Yes, and sent a picture," Justin grinned. "Better give them a talk."
"It's such a nice change," Clara said. "Are you done spying on our daughter yet?"
"Almost," Justin looked at a few more pages. He noticed a set of numbers on each page and started flipping back and forth to try to find a pattern. "What are these?" Justin asked when he couldn't translate the numbers.
"I don't-" Clara frowned and then stopped as she saw them. "Oh, Scarlett."
"What?" Justin asked.
"It's her weight," Clara shook her head. "And I'm guessing her waist and hip measurements."
"Oh," Justin waited for Clara to explain. Clara turned to the most recent set of numbers.
"Well, she's not really losing weight," Clara said. "So that's good."
"Is she trying?" Justin asked. "Should she even try? I mean she seems small to me."
"She's perfectly healthy," Clara said. "She's going to be underweight if she loses anything."
