"Thanks for doing this," Aiden said as Luke fixed Aiden's tie. He couldn't imagine having anyone else there as his best man other than Luke. Especially since Justin was on tour and couldn't be there for his tux fittings.

"You say that like I'd ever miss it," Luke smiled. "I'm happy to be here for you."

"I know, I just feel like I'm asking a lot," Aiden didn't want to point out the obvious. Wes was one of his groomsmen which meant Luke would have to spend a lot of time with him for the first time in years.

"Nah, it's nothing," Luke said. He stepped back and looked Aiden over from head to toe. "I think it looks great."

"Yeah?" Aiden turned to look at his reflection so he could see the tux for himself. "Yeah, it does."

"Now we just pray Chelsea agrees," Luke held out his hand. Aiden handed his phone over so Luke could take some pictures. It was supposed to be his final fitting, as long as Chelsea approved.

"I knew she'd lose her mind over this wedding but I sure as shit didn't expect this level of crazy," Aiden said. "God I love her."

"It's funny how you say that in the same breath," Luke laughed. He passed Aiden's phone back.

"It's true though," Aiden turned to look at himself again. "I told her, this wedding is gonna be a big deal. People expect a lot, you know? And she's fine with that."

"Do girls ever have trouble spending money?" Luke asked.

"Good question," Aiden smiled. "Oh, and speaking of money, are you bringing a date?"

"That's a big fat no," Luke sighed.

"Really?" Aiden frowned. "Come on, Luke, how long has it been?"

"Too long," Luke shook his head.

"And there's no one?" Aiden asked. "Whatever happened to that guy you were seeing?"

"Eh, he wasn't right for me," Luke shrugged.

"Why not? Was he missing his asshole?" Aiden asked, trying to get Luke to smile. It worked.

"The sex was fine, but I don't want to settle for fine," Luke said. "I want something better."

"Well don't be too picky," Aiden said. "You won't be young and beautiful forever."

"You'll still love me," Luke laughed.

Chelsea texted back saying she thought Aiden looked great so he paid and they left the store. Aiden went right into Starbucks and tried not to seem too proud of himself when he saw the way people were looking at him.

Aiden graduated from college with offers to play for two different NFL teams. His first choice was the New York Giants but after Chelsea reminded him how hard it was to be away from his family just for college he accepted a contract with the Oakland Raiders. And then his whole life changed.

For most of his life, Aiden was happy living in the background. He liked following Justin and Maddox around, letting them have the spotlight while he stood back and watched the chaos around them. But now he had fans of his own. The fans lined up outside stadiums to see him, wearing his jersey and holding signs for to cheer him on.

He couldn't lie, he liked the attention. But Aiden knew it wasn't quite what Chelsea had in mind when she agreed to marry him. She'd always talked about having a quiet life, starting their careers and raising a family. They never agreed on how many kids but Aiden figured he had time to talk her into at least 10.
