"They spent how much?" Justin demanded.
"Dad, relax," Scarlett said. Clara laughed.
"Justin, would you get out of here?" Clara shook her head. "I promised if the girls came here for girl time you would be gone."
"I want to see the pictures," Justin protested.
"They'll be here when you get back," Clara said. Justin leaned over her shoulder and gave her a kiss. "Love you."
"I love you too," he grinned. "Call me when it's safe to come home."
"Will do," Clara promised. "Stay out of trouble."
"Not a chance," Justin laughed and stood up. "Have fun, girls."
"Bye, Daddy," Scarlett waved.
"Oh my gosh, you would not believe the traffic," Kylie burst through the front door. She had her hands full of bags. "Dad, what are you doing here?"
"I'm leaving," Justin said. He went to hug Kylie.
"Anyway," Kylie hugged Justin but brought all the bags to the kitchen table. "Are you looking at wedding pictures? Let me see!"
"They're beautiful," Scarlett seemed so proud, like they were her own wedding pictures. "We think Sports Illustrated should put Chels and Aiden in their next swim edition."
"Yes!" Kylie cheered.
"No!" Justin groaned.
"Dad, leave!" Scarlett and Kylie said at the same time. Justin sighed but went through the garage door, letting it slam behind him.
"Oh look at the light in this one," Kylie said, taking the iPad from Clara.
"What's in all these bags?" Emily stood up. She'd been looking over Clara's shoulder at the pictures.
"Just a few things," Kylie said. "I brought some stuff for Hannah and then snacks and stuff for us."
"Ooh, food?" Scarlett leaned over to dig through the bags. "Wait, look how cute this shirt is," she gasped, pulling a pink top out of the bag.
"Hannah, that's going to be beautiful on you," Clara said.
"You didn't have to get me clothes," Hannah took the shirt from Scarlett who was holding it up to her. Hannah held it against her front so they could all see it.
"Of course I did," Kylie said. "It was too cute to leave it behind."
"She's trying to help," Emily patted Hannah's shoulder.
Chloe rolled her eyes. She still wasn't sure how her parents had tricked her into going with Hannah to Kylie's girls' day. Obviously it was all about Hannah, just like always. Everyone seemed to have forgotten why Hannah was pregnant in the first place.
"Okay, but honestly," Scarlett sat down next to Hannah. "How are you handling this?"
"She's amazing, Scarlett, obviously," Kylie said.
"No, really," Scarlett said. "I'm sorry if this is too hard to answer, but what's it like? I can't imagine being pregnant and knowing I won't have a baby afterward."
"I, um," Hannah took a deep breath. "I don't think about it. It's not a baby."
"Yes it is, it's a person," Kylie said.
