Chapter 5 Couple of Secrets

It'd been two weeks since Erika confided in Lauren, and Jake had found her pregnancy test.
Erika kept silent from saying anything to Jake about the whole thing, unaware Jake knew about her
pregnancy.

Jake had again took Erika out on a date, the two had went out to the Fair together,
which Erika was apposed to since her guilt was getting overwhelming, but not doing anything with Jake only made her feel worse.

"What do you want to ride first?" Jake asked holding Erika's hand, as he looked at all the colorful rides, and clowns making ballon animals, his eyes in sparkling awe as he looked back at his girlfriend.
"Huh...Oh, uh, let's get on the bumper cars" Erika suggested, Jake frowned a bit,
"That's a little rough don't you think?" Jake asked, in his head thinking of Erika's pregnancy not wanting
her to over-excert herself, besides just the thought of someone bumping Erika got him irritated. "Rough?" Erika questioned laughing, "I can't believe you of all people,
are worried about something being too rough" She finished.

"Well, I just didn't think you'd like something like that" Jake muttered, looking down,
"I suggested it" Erika reminded him giggling, her slight laughter stopping abruptly as Jake kissed her cheek, getting a little blush, "How about we ride the ferris wheel?" Jake asked, "Okay, okay" Erika said, she felt Jake give her hand a gentle squeeze before she went with him getting their tickets to ride, as they stood in line together Erika
felt her stomach churn with nausea.

*I can't tell if this if from guilt, or actually being pregnant* Erika thought, her face souring a bit,
just as she was about to drop her head down, she felt Jake kiss her again. "Are you okay Rik?" Jake asked,
"Oh, I'm fine, I'm just getting butterflys I guess" Erika lied smiling, "Okay, well if you don't want to go
up there, we can just do something else" Jake told her, "No, I'll be fine" Erika assured him, just as they got to
the front of the line.

The couple soon got in their seats fastening the belts, as they were slowly lifted in the air.
"Oh shoot" Erika mumbled a nervous smile on her face, "Getting scared?" Jake asked grinning,
"I'm not scared Paul!" Erika told him pushing him slightly, "You look scared" Jake teased her,
"I don't, shut up!" She told him, "Ohh, Erika were getting to the top!"Jake said bugging his eyes
trying to freak her out, Erika's breath hitched hearing the ferris wheel creek as they reached the top.

"Everything looks so tiny down there!" Erika exclaimed looking down, before quickly bringing her head back up
swallowing nervously, "I shouldn't have looked down!" Erika whined closing her eyes, "Erika" Jake said looking at her,
"Yeah?" Erika questioned still gripping her seat, her eyes closed, Jake grabbed her head making her face him.
"I love you" Jake told her before closing the gap kissing her passionately, before the ferris wheel started moving swiftly
moving them down roughly, the wind throwing their hair out of place, as screams filled the air.

Erika felt her heart pounding like crazy, her instict was to be scared as they were moving so fast, but at the same time
Jake's kiss calmed her down but also heated her up. Jake soon moved back smiling at Erika's blush before letting out a scream as he held Erika's hand, looking back ahead as the ferris wheel got faster, Erika soon started screaming as well, both their screams mixed with laughter.

Soon the two got off the ride, going on a few more, and playing some games, Jake winning Erika a few plush toys
before they got back into Jake's tesla;Blood shark.
While Erika gazed out the window holding the plush goat Jake won for her, Jake couldn't help sneaking glances
at her, thinking fondly on their future together, he thought about how he'd jokingly bought the tesla as a family car, and soon it'd actually be used for his family. *Me, Erika, and hopefully a set of twins* Jake thought smiling at Erika
before looking back at the road. *Its almost time for the moment of truth* Erika thought as she looked out the window,
trying hard not to look at Jake, already feeling emotional and guilty after their date.

Erika had Lauren set her up a apointment with the Doctor, after telling her dumbfounded cousin
about her 'catching up' with her exboyfriend...and how one thing led to another. Erika inwardly shudder
thinking of the memory. Even though in terrified her, she knew she had to find out for certain if the baby was hers and Jake's or...

Erika squeezed her Goat plush tighter, feeling sick just thinking if it wasn't Jake's, how would she tell him,
would he still love her afterwards? Should she tell him *And if it is his I don't have to tell him about the other
guy...And if it isn't maybe I could get rid of the baby before he finds out I'm pregnant* Erika thought.
